This is the much under-appreciated sequel to the original TJ&E. Instead of a cooperative two-player adventure, it was a side-scrolling platformer designed for single-player with an underdeveloped two-player mode thrown in. This game ditched the opening presents idea, but the presents are still in the game and now provide points, food, and three different powerups. The basic storyline is that when ToeJam and Earl escaped from planet Earth, some earthlings hitched a ride on their reconstructed spaceship and invaded Funkotron (and its moon, somehow :) ). The Funkopotamus, master of all Funk, fled to his private Funk Dimension taking all of the planet's funk with him. The object of the game is to trap all of the earthlings in little jars and ship them out into space, while collecting the Funkopotamus's favorite things to lure him out of the Funk Dimension. Even though it was only a simple platformer, it was fun to play over and over again because it oozed personality. The world is lush and colorful and filled with NPCs with hilarious dialogue. Playing this game is all about being absorbed in the atmosphere and going on all sorts of wacky side-quests. I still break this one out for an hour or two every once in a while :). I don't have any pictures or much info right now but give me some time!
