The food in TJ&E either takes away or gives energy to your life bar.  Food that gives a small amount is "Not bad", food that gives a medium amount is "Yumm", and food that gives a lot is "WOW!".  Food that takes away a small amount is "Ick", food that takes away a medium amount is "Yuck" and food that takes away a lot is "Gross!".
