Literature seems to say 3.5-4.0 length is average. 2.5 is fair and 2.0 or less is concerning and possible red flag for IC. What really matters is change over a period of time. You can stay at 3.2 and start your pregnancy like that and it is fine, normal for you. Vaginal ultrasound over a course of 2-3 weeks will give you the information you will need to see if your cervix continues to shorten. Often with IC you will see the cervix start to change (what they call funneling) sometimes quickly between 18-24 weeks.
