Please give us the history of Vomit Remnants.
 
The band was born in end of 1997 with members with Japan's legend death metal god called Flesh Mangler. We've released two demos called "In The Name Of Vomit" 97 and
"Brutally Violated" which  was  only  amazing  reactions.  We  had  first  amazing  show in America at Ohio Deathfest 1999 with fucking killer bands with Cryptopsy, Dying Fetus,
Internal Bleeding,  Devourment,  Prophecy, Dehumanized, Malignancy, Disgorge(CA), Fleshgrind, Gorgasm, Lividity, Regurgitation etc.. It was same timing with release of our
first album called "Supreme Entity."  Till we release second CD called "Indefenesible Vehemence."  We had American Tour and European Tour, both were killer.  The band has
stoped  the  active  in 2001but three years later we reformed the band with totally brand new members except me.  We've done the show in Maryland Deathfest 2005 in USA,
Premature Burial Tour  with  Goratory  and  Wormed  in  Japan.  Supported  part of show at Malamor Japan Tour and Hyper Groove Fanaticism European Tour.  Also released
"Supreme Vehemence" discography CD and Vomit Remnants/Carnivorous/Godless Truth 3-way Split CD.

What are your musical and non-musical influences?
 
Personally, I influenced by mostly American death metal bands like Suffocation, Dying fetus, Gorgasm, Deeds Of Flesh and Mortal Decay etc...  The list are soo many.  As for
the non-musical influences are Legion, horror, gore stuff, movie, book etc...

Congratulations on the Unique Leader Records signing!  I hope this decision works out 
for you.
 
Yeah.  Thanks  for  your  killer words!  We are fucking honor to get deal with them! We wanted to sign with them long time, so its finally dreams came true!  Of course, this
decision is the best for us I think!  The band gonna be much brutal!  I can't wait to release the CD on Unique Leader!  And hopefully join the North American Bloodletting Tour
and Guttting Europe Tour!  It would be sick!
 
I'm certain there were offers from other labels.  What is it with Unique Leader Records that made you decide to sign with them?     
 
Actually, we got more than 10 offers from global record labels, thats fucking amazing!  We chosen Unique Leader because we wanted them long time as I told you before.  Its
cause  they are  only  seriously release death metal and the rosters are fucking excellent.  Also they are doing a lot of tours like North American Bloodletting Tour and Gutting
Europe! That's  why  we  decided to sign with them.  Oh, I must say.  We fucking respect godly Deeds Of Flesh long time!  We are so much honor to became to Unique Leader
family as many killer bands like Deeds Of Flesh, Decrepit Birth, Aeon, Psycroptic, Mortal Decay, Vile, Severed Savior, Disavowed, Pyaemia and Gorgasm etc... Aggghhh!
 
How many albums are you going to do with them?
 
We  just  signed to our next full length album which coming 2006!  We are setting the release season on spring!  Hopefully!  I hope to we can still work with them for more
albums in the future! 
 
Have you started writing new material? 
 
Of  course  I've started the writing new songs and my singer has started writting new lyrics!  They are gonna be fucking brutal!  To be honest, I have no experience to writing
songs my self so much.  But when we've split up four years ago, the song writter and also our main guitar player Takahiro left the band, so I have to write song myself and I
have   to keep  his  feeling.  Its so difficult man!  But now I can create more brutal stuff what I wanted to do!  You will see brand new and also real Vomit Remnants brutality
in 2006! 
 
Macabre Mementos Records did an excellent work with "Supreme Vehemence."
Needless to say the Studio-Sho artwork is killer!  The vintage Vomit Remnants videos alone makes this mandatory!
 
Yeah, the  release  was fucking brilliant!  I am happy to able release it!  Also as you are saying, the artwork rules!  Also the booklet has alot of pictures between 1997-2005.

Speaking of videos.  Do you have plans to do a DVD?
 
We don't planning the DVD release yet.  But Thats would be kller if we can make some video clips!  I have idea for the situations or hopefully we can just put live recording! 
 
You are also a part of a 3-Way Split CD with Godless Truth and Carnivorous released by Lacereted Enemy Records which I haven't picked up yet.  Tell us more about it. 
 
Oh you must have it.  I can say it's masterpiece of the Split CD!  We put three tracks of new recording which was recorded in this year.  Two of new songs and a re-recorded old
demo track.  Carnivorous  recorded  fucking  killer stuff!  Fast as hell!  Of  course the drummer is Troy from Severed Savior as their demo.  The new recording was much faster
and  techinical  than  demo.  Godless Truth  kills everybody!  Fucking killer groove  and  fast  technical!  We are so honor to able to part of this split CD! Thanks Zdenek from
Lacerated Enemy Records/Godless Truth to chosen us on this CD! Also the killer artwork by John Zig!  If you haven't gotten it contact me or Zdenek today!

I've heard a lot of comments about the drum sound on this Split CD particularly with the snare but this is something I have to hear myself. 
 
Is it good comments or bad one? I hope to its good ! Hahaha! 
 
You have been playing live relentlessly!  How was the "Hyper Groove Fanaticism Tour" and the "Tokyo Death Fest"?
I've seen tons of photos and I envy everyone who were there! You fortunate fuckers! Hahaha!  
 
Hahaha!  Nice  to  you  enjoyed the pictures.  I have tons of many other pictures from the tour which I am gonna add soon.  Yeah, our second European Tour "Hyper Groove
Fanaticism" with Godless Truth was totally amazing!  We played 15 shows around nine countries!  Totally fun as hell!  We sold all of shirts and CDs so quickly and every show
was fucking excited!  We  wish  to  return there soon!  As for the Tokyo Deathfest, it was also fun!  Never happened something like that in Japan so peolpe got fucking excite
and  all  bands  seemed  really enjoyed.  Before and after the festival, many bands emailed us to play there.  I am sure its gonna be much better every years! Next Tokyo
Deathfest has already set up in end of April 2006 as well.  Can't wait!  

Now that you are with Unique Leader Records I assume the US is on your hit list again.
 
To play?  Yeah, I am dying to return to the States!  Of course, after the release CD thru Unique Leader should be cool!  We wish to Unique Leader bring us to Bloodletting
North American Tour!  It would be like dreams come true man! 
 
How would you describe a Vomit Remnants set?
 
At  moment,  actually  we  set  couple  of songs from "Supreme Entity."  We haven't played cover of Soils Of Fate on the stage yet plus couple of songs from "Indefensible
Vehemence" plus a song from new one.  It's like 30-40 minitues.  If we released next one, the set would be little longer.  Also, we always set first song from CD to first song
to play.  We think the first track on the CD is very memorable you know? People can get exciting man! 

What do you think is your most memorable gig?
 
Its hard to say.  But I think my most memorable gig was at Ohio Deathfest'99.  It was totally amazing.  We had really brutal time there.  I have never seen something like
that line up.  It was only amazing bands.  We were really honor to joined there.  We will never forget it.
 
What do you like most and like least about playing live?
 
Personally, I always thinking about just try to do my best. It's dosen't matter how many crowd.  1000 people or 2-3 people, it's same for me.  Of course, when we play front of
a lot people, thats killer, but I only think I need satisfied about playing, performance and people doesn't disappointment.  Oh, we hate to lack of sleep and hood... Hahaha!
But that's always not good condtion for me..Hahaha!

Is there a possibility for Vomit Remnants to play in Manila?  
 
Actually, I am always getting offers to play in East Asia especially Indonesia but no realize yet.  We appreciate to people interesting us to play there.  Hope to we play there
soon!
 
The last Japanese band to play here was Vivisick.  Have you heard of them?  
 
Vivisick? I have never heard them before.  But nice to hear some Japanese playing over the sea! 

 
I must say JPDM is brutal than ever!  There are lots of brutal bands coming out from the far east.

The scene became to much better than while ago but I don't think so.  Sorry but I can't tell you lie.  Actually, there are couple of really great bands but the scene is extremely
weak.  Only couple of death metal labels, few webzines, no death metal magazines, no radio shows, very few promoters and few death metal bands... It's sad but true.  The
most  of  the bands are playing death metal music, but looks like hip-hop or sports players... That's strange.  We have watched global death metal scene all times and only
care legend death metal style.  That's why I am saying and hate this scene.
