From the minute he lay eyes on her Spike was into Buffy.  He wanted her...maybe initially to die but in the end to live!! Their fights always looked like choreography... so fluid, so natural...so perfectly synchronous. 

From the get go they moved together like one.  And together as a couple...ooh la la!!!
