Gurdwara Bal Lilah is situated 400 yardsaway from the holy shrine of janam Asthan,Gurdwara Nanakana Sahib.

This site is related with the early childhood of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

It is said that Guru Nanak dev ji during his childhood used to recite ' Sat Kartar ' while playing with children of his age .

Rai Bular , the landlord of the village built a small tank in the affectionate rememberance of the childhood of Guru Ji , at the spot where Guru Ji played and subsequently spent nights in meditation.

The present building and the large sarover were built at a later date.

In 1947 , During the Partition of India and Pakistan this Gurdwara went on the Pakistan side, Since then the Pakistan Waqf Board has been serving the Gurdwara.

Gurdwara is opened only at the time when Sikh Jathas visit , every year on four different occasions. There is no arrangement of Parkasha. It is only the building which is safe and sound.
