This Gurdwara is called Maulvi Patti Sahib as,
Guru Nanak Dev ji learnt Persian from one Maulvi
Kutub-ud-Din at this place. The
Sikh residents of Nankana Sahib have been
performing daily service at this place for the last few
years.
This shrine is managed by Pakistan Waqf Board.
Sikh Jathas who visit Pakistan every year on four different
occasions, visit
this Gurdwara too. |
