Gurdwara Nanak Piyao
--------------------

This Gurdwara is situated in North of Old Sabzi Mandi,
along the Grand Trunk Road between Rana Partap Bagh and Azadpur on the main road.
Guru Nanak visited Delhi during his travels and during his stay here he got
water from a well which he served to travellers.

PIYAO litearlly means
a place where water is served to the thirsty.

This place is respected by Guru's followers.
The Gurdwara, now has a new building within a walled compound.

The main function of the year celebrated in this Gurdwara is
the death anniversary of Guru Nanak which is generally held in the month of September.

A sarover has recently been constructed by Baba Harbans Singh ji and
the interior of the Gurdwara has been covered with
glasses giving it a modern outlook.
