After the Bhog, everybody had their own program. Most of the pilgrims went to Baba Wali Qandhari's Mazar, the place from where the muslim saint rolled the huge rock to crush Guru Nanak.

The Mazar of the Muslim Saint, Baba Wali Qandhari is on the Hill Top which can be seen from the Gurdwara Sahib Premises. It takes around one and a half hour to reach the Mazar. Many Muslim men & Women sit and pray at the Mazar.

According to the engravings on the stone at the Mazar, when the muslim Baba Wali Qandhari rolled the huge rock to crush Guru Nanak, and Guru ji stopped the rock with just putting his hand under it, seeing this miracle the Muslim Saint fell on his feet and apologised, the Guru blessed him that any one who would visit Punja Sahib shall also visit the place of Wali Qandhari. On the way to the Mazar there are people sitting on the rocks singing and prasing the almighty.

.........................In the afternoon the pilgrims took there their bag and baggage and reached the railway station to take the train to Lahore. But the train left in the evening. The whole time pilgrims were sitting, waiting for the train.

15th April, 2001 :

.......................The train reached Badami Bagh station of Lahore in the morning around 6 A.M. From the station many of the devotees went to Gurdwara Dera Sahib, popular as, Baba Darbar, among local people.

At Lahore pilgrims had the option to choose, weather to stay in the Gurdwara premises or to stay in the Hotel. In Lahore there are lot of Hotels, the resonable and reputed Hotels are near the Lahore Railway station. For Hotel and Room rent Click here .

Note : Always check about the reputation of the Hotel before checking in.

Hotels get occupied very quickly due to so many pilgrims, so it is always better to act fast.

After resting for a while devotees gathered in Gurdwara Dera Sahib to pay homage, and take Guru's blessings.

Some of the pilgrims had planned to go back to India. There were two trains one on 16th April and the other was on 19th April. Those who had thought of going the next day had just few hours left in Lahore. So, they tried visit as many places as they could within that time.We will visit all these places later, as we shall be staying till 19th April.

16th April, 2001 :

For the next three days people who stayed back in Lahore, went around Lahore city. There are a lot of places some have history connected with them, and some are new.

Some of the main places of public intrest are :

....... Shahi Qila ( the Royal Fort )

....... Shahi Masjid (the Royal Mosque )

....... Minar-e-Pakistan ( Yadgar )

....... Anarkali Bazaar ( the main Bazaar ).

....... Pace ( Market built by Imran Khan )

....... Lunda Bazaar

....... The whole new Lahore is very neat and clean.

....... Alhamra art centre and other halls ( here Stage Dramas are played ).

There are many more worth seeing places in Lahore, even two weeks would be less to go around all the places .

But here I would definatelly mention that the people of Pakistan are very Hostile, Careing and Helpfull. Even the Police is very co-oprative.

The Members of Evacuee Trust Property Board and Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee are very afficient.

The last train reached Attari at 10 P.M., at Attari the customs and immigration officers didnot bother anybody. They were very co-oprative .

From Attari everybody went to there respactive destinations.

Note : If you are Planning to go to Delhi, As soon as the customs and immigration foramlities are over without wasting a second get the tickets of the train reserved, because there is only one train.
