Islamic Prophets
Prophet Musa – Yusuf’s son, was born in Egypt. The phaoroa at this time ordered all of Yusuf’s children to be killed so that one day they didn’t become more powerful than him. Musa’s mother placed him in a basket and in a river so that his life might be saved. At the end Musa was again reunited with his mother.

Prophet Yunus – it is believed by many that Prophet Yunus suffered a terrible sea voyage and ended up being swallowed by a giant fish. However, Yunus prayed to Allah and his life was saved.

Prophet Dawud – Dawud was a very strong and courageous man. One day a troop of evil warriors came to attack his village, no one was prepared to fight them except Dawud. He ended up killing Jalut, who was feared by many people. Dawud prayed to Allah and thanked him for his victory over Jalut. The rest of the warriors retreated and fled as fast as they could.

Prophet Sulaiman – he was Dawud’s son, he had the power to understand the languages of animals and birds.

Prophet Zakariya – Zakariya and his wife were very old but had no children, they wanted a child very badly and prayed to Allah. One day their prayer was answered and they had a son and named him Yahya.

Prophet Yahya – was the son of Prophet Zakariya, he was a kind man to all the people and animals. He always told people to pray to Allah and was a good and loving son.

Prophet Isa – Prophet Isa is also known as Jesus Christ in the Bible. He was born to Maryam(sa), although some people call her Mary(sa). He was able to perform many miracles with Allah’s help and could also bring the dead back to life. He had many followers, but also people who were against him and refused to listen to him.
Prophet Muhammad – was the last prophet of Allah, he was born an orphan and his father died before he was born.
