    Sub: Indian Customs EDI system facility of filing of EGM/IGM through X.400 

            In continuation of Public Notice No.77/98 dt. 3-11-98, 2/99 dt. 4-1-99 and 419/99 dt. 22-10-99, it is hereby informed that submission of Import/Export Manifest will be online through X.400 from 23-2-2000. All Airlines either directly or through their service providers will be able to file their IGMs/EGMs electronically using Global Net EDI system for which M/s. Global Electronic Commerce Services Ltd. will be charging as follows: 

            a) For the Airlines who will prepare the IGM/EGM on their own and just need the connectivity to send it to Customs: Rs.20/- per EGM and Rs.25/- per IGM. 

            b) For the Airlines who will approach the service centre maintained by the GECS : Rs.25/- per EGM/IGM/CONSOLE and Rs. 15/- extra if the FFM (Flight Manifest is not received electronically) in this case, the GECs would enter the FFM list before preparing the EGM/IGM).
