Subject : Appointment of a Nodal officer for redressal of the grievances of the Exporters/Importers etc.   

    It is hereby notified for the information of Exporters, Importers, Clearing Agents, Trading Community and others concerned that the Deputy Commissioner of Customs for Appraising - 1 of this Custom House has been designated as the Nodal Officer for redressal of their grievances. Any problem faced by the Importers, Exporters, Clearing Agents, Trading Community and others concerned in respect of both imports and exports through this Custom House, may be brought to the notice of the Nodal Officer at any time on the telephone nos. given below for getting clarification and redressal of the grievances, if any

2.   This charge is currently held by Smt. S. Kumar, D.C. Customs

3. This facility is available in addition to the concerned Asstt. Commissioners / Deputy Commissioners and/or Joint Commissioners / Addl. Commissioner in charge of the various groups for import and export department in the Custom House, who would also be approached in case of any difficulty.
