Sub: Procedure for Computerised processing of documents under ICES (Sea  Cargo) for Exports-implementation of Indian Customs EDI System-reg.    

        In continuation of the Public Notice 79/98 dt. 13-11-98, it is hereby brought to the notice of the Exporters, CHAs, Steamer Agents and all concerned that following is hereby substituted for the para 3.9 of  PN 99/98: 

        The validity of the Shipping Bill in the EDI System shall be 15 (Fifteen) days only. After expiry of 15 days from the date of Shipping Bill, the exporter has to file the declaration afresh.
