Roosting Behaviour of  Dragonfly, 

                           Potamarcha congener

Many libellulids  show roosting behaviour ( dragonflies of the same species aggregated  and perched together on one plant or bush) especially by Potamarcha congener. Normally they show this type of behaviour in the dry season.

   The photo taken by Dr. Allan Brandon (UK) which he encountered covering a bush on the     escarpment above  Saligao  Village, Goa ,15th and 17th January ,2001at 6.30am( before dawn)
