Private sector preparedness is not a luxury; it is a cost of business in the post 9/11 world.

During emergencies causing disruptions, business concerns ranging from "What happens if?" and "How does business continue to function?" will be addressed in Wareham's presentation. She will define business continuity and its importance in the private and public sectors.

Some of the elements of business continuity include:

The role of safety awareness in one's professional and personal life also will be discussed. Questions will be taken following the summary.
