Here's the contract that we used for our tour last year...'

BOOKING CONTRACT

I Mike Wimer, as the designated representative for SMP and Noxious Emotion (hereinafter referred to as THE BAND), will obligate them to perform at _________________________ (hereinafter referred to as THE VENUE) on ____/____/____ (Date). THE VENUE will provide the following: P.A. SYSTEM, SOUND MAN, POWER, SECURITY AND PROMOTION.

I agree that THE VENUE is not responsible for any damages, theft, or loss incurred to either our persons or our equipment.
THE BANDS (SMP & Noxious Emotion) shall be paid a guarantee of $200 for their performance ($100 for each band) plus a 25% cut of net proceeds of the door after THE VENUE has covered costs. THE BAND shall also be provided with space to set up merchandise.

I agree to all terms set forth in this contract and I understand that any violations of said contract may result in the forfeiture of any and all monetary compensations or performance. As the designated representative for THE BAND, I will ensure that every member of THE BAND and their crew read a copy of this contract.

ANOTHER EXAMPLE

This Agreement is for the performance engagement described below made between , of and the (hereafter referred to as 'purchaser').
It is understood that by requesting this contract the purchaser has made a verbal agreement to honor the agreed upon date. honors verbal agreements and will not be sending contracts to any other potential purchasers for this date. Contact immediately upon receiving this contract if your intentions are anything but positive concerning the agreed upon date. This will allow to make your date available to other potential purchasers.

Special Conditions:

Purchaser is to provide sound system.
Purchaser is responsible for paying all and any state, county, and/or city income taxes that are deducted from the agreed upon fee and retained by the purchaser.
