Adoption Policies

• All cats, dogs, kittens and puppies are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

• All cats are tested for FIV (Feline Aids) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia) prior to adoption.

• All cats are placed in indoor-only homes to ensure they will live a safe and healthy life.

• Every pet is delivered to its new home to help with the transition.

• The adopter will not de-claw a cat, de-bark a dog, crop a dog’s ears, or seek any other cosmetic procedures. It’s inhumane and unnecessary (and already outlawed in many countries such as the U.K).

• Kittens are not adopted to homes with toddlers (for the safety of the child and the kitten).

• Kittens are adopted in pairs if there is no other cat in the adopter’s home.

• Dogs are placed in homes with appropriate access to indoor and outdoor areas. We require obedience training and can recommend excellent trainers.

• An adoption fee is required.

  $75 for one dog
