Untold Prophecies - The Takari Birth = Chapter 1: Angel's Prophecy
(Digimon Alternaverse/Continuation)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Author's Notes: I do not own Digimon or its characters.
This is just my work of fan fiction and will not be used in any way for profit.
Author's Notes: Halfway through the chapter I though about making it a mega-crossover, so I'm changing it a bit.
It's still gonna be mainly a Digimon alternaverse/continuation, but there will also be a few characters from other anime in here, also.
Chapter 1: Angel's Prophecy
Date: Sunday, May 6, 2005 ---- Time: 3: 23 AM ---- Location: ????
Gennai cursed under his breath and stabbed the shining silver stone dagger into the heart of yet another vampire.
"Curses, how many more of these are there!?" A shrill scream blew out blood at him, the vampire disappearing into smoke.
"Damn monk! Taste this! Bloody Stump!" Without warning, Gennai felt a perfect black dagger cleave through his left hand, leaving only what the name implied.
Screaming out in pain, Gennai tightened his coat sleeve. "Shimata! How about my Blood of Light!?" Waving the useless stump around, Gennai felt his life pour into the final attack,
and he fell to the ground, exhausted, hurt, and waiting for death to come.
Around him his blood left gaping holes in demons' bodies, most of them shrieking in agony and torment.
And again, without warning, a blue light split the pitch-black space and engulfed Gennai.
Moments later, no light was even present, once more swallowed up by the overwhelming darkness and demonic presences.
One of those cackled evilly. Seeming as if to step out into the light, yet there was none, the demon snickered.
"So, he knows of the prophecy. I must end this as soon as possible! Inverse!"
A ominous hiss crept from the darkness. "Yes, m' lord?"
The king of demons smirked, his fangs glistening like two shaved jewels.
"Follow that man wherever he goes, Inverse. Let him tell the Chosen Children the untold part of the prophecy, then kill them. All of them. Understood?"
Bloody hands saluted the master. "Hai, Oni-kami-sama."
"Take the twelve shin-yokai with you."
"Hai."
Date: Tuesday, May 8, 2005 ---- Time: 2: 15 PM ---- Location: Hida Residence
Eleven classes throughout Tokyo were interrupted by a shrill beeping noise that came from a select eleven teenagers who had been chosen to fulfill a task they never wanted.
"Takaishi-kun, Yagami-san, Inoue-san, and Hida-kun, please leave the room immediately and turn those digital watches of yours off!"
and, "Yagami-kun, Takenouchi-san, please see to it that those are turned off!" and even, "Yamato, why didn't you turn that thing off BEFORE the concert!?" were heard a mile away from the city outskirts.
Every one, however, didn't bother turning off their Digivices/D3s and used almost any form of transportation to get to one simple place: Iori's room.
"What!? What happened!?" Taichi, Yamato, Sora, Mimi, and Koushiro all shouted at the same time once they got into the room.
"I don't know, but something's coming out of the computer!" Agumon answered.
Miyako furiously typed on the keyboard. "Is it another Digitama?" Small digicode seeped out from the computer monitor, curving to form the shape of something.
"It's...a person..." Four feet of billions of digital information hovered in the middle of the group.
Soon, more detail formed the creature and there was less information being processed. "Who is it?"
Patamon answered quickly, "G-Gennai-sensei!" He could always tell who his favorite mentor was, even if he was all scarred and battered, missing a hand, a deep gash on his right arm, his right foot almost totally sliced through, another deep gash on his forehead, and missing an ear.
"What happened to you!?" Blood poured out from the wounds, and obviously he would die soon.
"You..." His old eyes opened one more time, smiling at the twenty-two faces around him, a smile filled with sadness and longing. "Your destinies... Fulfill the untold prophecy...unleash the angel..." That was his last words.
His entire body blew up in a shower of digital info and seeped back into the computer.
"G-Gennai-sensei?" Taichi queried doubtfully. "I-Is he...dead?" Strangely enough, everybody nodded, albeit slowly. Even stranger, Taichi didn't bother shedding a tear.
"How many more people have to die, I wonder?" he asked in a emotionless voice. Nobody answered. Nobody knew.
Everyone was quiet for a long time. Two minutes passed before Biyomon asked, "What did he mean, 'become the angels'? Is he talking about Patamon and Tailmon?"
The two digimon shrugged, staring at each other, trying to find answers in each other's eyes.
"No, it's you guys. Who else here can evolve into Angel digimon?" Palmon insisted.
"Actually, I think I know what he's talking about," replied an extremely nervous Takeru. The others turned and faced him, waiting for answers.
"I think I know what the other half of the prophecy might be. It's probably-"
"Ragna Blade!" The wall behind everyone suddenly imploded on itself, sending sharp pieces of debris flying everywhere, from the glass window to the soft curtain to the solid brick-cement.
As the smoke cleared, Taichi and Yamato were the first to notice thirteen looming shapes stalk into the room,
the evil resonating from them flicking off even the steady artificial light from the lamp.
They were...strangely normal-looking. Despite the giant form, the eyeless sockets with only red pupils, the parakeet-shaped beak, the six arms, the rib bones tearing outward from their own flesh, the Tyrannosaurus Rex feet, ten-fingered hands, and blades every here and there, the creatures were actually quite...human.
"Heheheheheh. So this is the so-called Chosen Children? Talk about ridiculous." The largest, one that seemed to be almost exactly human in every department except for the black skin color (literally, so if you're black, please don't be offended) and green pupils.
She(?) had a voice that spoke almost childly, yet her shapely body said otherwise.
"Who the hell are you, some kind of maniac!?" Taichi yelled cockily. "Hmph. Human people have no patience or manners. Fine, if you want my name, it's Inverse Lina, the practitioner of black magic and keeper of the Giga Slave. But please don't pass it around, I really hate that popularity stuff. Anyway, I've been sent to kill you. Nothing personal, don't take it the wrong way. Fireball." Yamato barely had enough time to scream out before the massive ball of fire blasted him straight past the used-to-be wall and out into the open.
"Yamato! Petite Fire!" The jet of ion energy passed harmlessly off the nearest shin-yokai, who in turn smacked a long, clawed finger into Gabumon's snout, cracking straight through skin and bone past the brain and out the other side.
"AAAAAARGGH!" The yokai grinned evilly and pulled its own finger out from Gabumon's snout, licking off the blood that covered it.
The bleeding reptile clutched his nose, howling in pain, falling to the ground in a crumpled heap.
Lina chuckled. "Oh, please. You think those puny attacks will harm us? And, Yamato? Just to let you know, your digimon is seriously hurt, so you should have him evolve or something, cause he's going to die pretty soon." Taichi studied his new opponent confusedly.
What is WITH this person? She says she has to kill us, but she tries to help as much as she can, too!
Then he noticed that she had kind of blanked out for a few minutes.
Anger suddenly passed by her eyes, then there came a large load of guilt that forced him to look away. He had noticed something else, however.
Could it have been...
"Taichi! I need to digivolve!" Agumon fired off another blast at the invading demons.
As if snapping from a trance, Taichi brought out his digivice and aimed it at Agumon.
"Agumon (Gabumon, Patamon, Tailmon, Biyomon, Gomamon, Palmon, Tentomon, V-mon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, Wormmon), perfect evolution!" each person shouted to their respective digimon (I didn't want to put every single person saying the same things, so I had to do this).
Each one was covered in light, soon fading out to show a WarGreamon (Agumon), a MetalGarurumon (Gabumon), a Rosemon (Palmon), a Shinigamimon (Patamon), a Holymon (Tailmon), a Himon (Biyomon), a ShinZudomon (Gomamon), a MetalKabuterimon (Tentomon), a Z-mon (Buimon), a Triceramon (Armadillomon;
I honestly didn't know that this one really existed in the anime, so I just made it up for Armadillomon's warp evolution), a Phoenixmon (Hawkmon), and finally, a ShinRyumon (Wormmon) (NOTE: the only ones that are the real warp evolutions of these digimon are the first 3, the others I just made up).
"Takeru?" Lina motioned toward the nearest shin-yokai. The other demons backed off instantly.
"My pleasure, ma'am." The little male-looking demon snickered, letting his yellow-gold hair fall down past his eyes.
Wings sprouted from his back, silver-white wings that shone on everything there. Including his face. "W-What...?" Takeru gasped.
It couldn't be... me? As if on cue, the Takeru-wannabe raised a fist. "Claw Defying Destiny." He flicked the glowing fist in their direction, and for a moment nothing happened.
Then loud screams were heard echoing through the house.
Each DigiDestined climbed on their digimons' backs a second before the blast struck them, and only barely got out of the way of the blast.
"Shimata! Z-mon, Yasha-dan!" The almost-exact-adult-look-alike-of-Buimon raised its clawed hand.
"YASHA!" A rainbow-colored beam shot out from his right hand, stopping about six yards (for those who don't know, that's 3 feet) in the sky. "DAN!" Takeru-yokai flew up and spread his wings to their full expansion.
"Feh. Claw Defying Destiny." Again the laser burst forth, but this time it stopped about four feet away from him.
"Try me, Z-mon." Z-mon's sword crashed down on Takeru-yokai, who parried easily and shattered the 18-foot blade with a single tap.
Then, shouting out, the demon boy plunged three straight lines on Z-mon's torso, replying jokingly, "Look at me, I'm Zoro."
"Spiraling Tempest!" Phoenixmon slammed her fist into the ground, sending eight curves of fire streaking out in a circular form, destroying everything in its path.
"Eastern Sun!" The oriental Chinese dragon flew straight up into the air, never once looking down, shooting up and up until he was nothing but pure light.
The demon Takeru cackled and lifted his wings. "Demonic Presence!" His wings glowed a heavenly white for about thirty seconds, then dissipated as shooting stars rocketed toward Pheonixmon and Miyako, never slowing down.
The two just stared wide-eyed as over two hundred beams of black light filled their visions.
"Miyako! Metal Frost Bite!" The same number of small lean projectiles streamed past her, countering the sparks in a fiery clash. "Everyone, ultimate attacks, NOW!"
"Terra Force!"
"Ominous Seeds!"
"Death Penalty!"
"Seven Heavens!"
"Gaspless!"
"Tsunami!"
"Electric Volt!"
"Yasha-dan!"
"Triple Armageddon!"
"Eruption!"
"Metal Wolf Claw!"
A giant fireball, about six hundred flower seeds, a scythe-shaped energy blast, seven orbs (orange, blue, green, sky blue, purple, turquoise, and silver, if you want to be exact), three compressed air arrows, a steady stream of water, 100,000 volts of electricity, a rainbow-colored blade, freezing cold flames with electricity seeping through them, huge columns of fire, and a BIG missile all crashed down on Takeru-yokai, who didn't even get a chance to move.
Even after the smoke started billowing up, ShinRyumon flew straight into a black hole and appeared out another as a giant beam which struck Takeru-yokai and caused a crater about twenty meters wide.
He didn't move. Slowly, ever so slowly, Takeru walked up to the creature.
"Who are you?" he asked, calm somehow.
The demonic kid smiled softly, his demon features totally erased from his body, replaced by an exact copied clothes set of his own.
"Well, I never thought I'd see the original me someday." A small cough interrupted him for a minute, but he continued, "Listen up, Takeru. You see these wings?" The young teenager shook his head. "First tell me what you are." At the immensely sad look in the other's eyes, Takeru immediately took back what he had just said.
Takeru-(yokai?) Then nodded and felt tears - Strange, I'm actually about to cry - welling up in his eyes. "Fine, then. I'm your awakener."
Chapter 2: Angel's Awakening
Author's Notes: Okay, not exactly where I had wanted to end this chapter, but I guess it'll be good enough.
More of the plot's getting unfolded, eh?
And the names of the attacks are all made up except for WarGreamon's and MetalGarurumon's moves, which I used the American names for.
