All in
a Point of View
(http://www.labofabyll.com/forum/threadid.php?threadid=1823)
Crash twitched, grinned, did a quick salute, then turned to an elevator and smashed through the doors, leaping down to the bottom floor and landing with an absurdly loud smashing noise. He wrenched the bottom floor's doors open, and marched out, looking around and grinning madly, eyes gleaming. "I shall crush Light's children!" He let loose is payload of rockets, letting them fly at random.
Jeric smiled ever
so slightly as he faded out of view in a flash of purple
light.
They're likely to fix that after this but damned that was
fun.
Shadow heard the
sound of rockets flying, turned around, only to see 4 rockets flying straight
for him. "Shit!" Shadow thought and quickly turned his stealth mode on. The
rockets flew with great speed towards Shadow and at point blank, went straight
through them and crashed into the walls. "Heh, luckily this Stealthmode lets
even projectiles go through" he thought while turning the mode off
again.
Note: This shouldn`t look as a uber tool. You`ll see that it isn`t

Crash was going, well, apeshit. He was barreling through, attempting to demolish anything he could see.
ProtoX returned to Hunter Base, hearing rumors that someone was making a fool of himself by messing up the bottom floor. He usually doesn't stop complete idiots, but he had nothing better to do to blow his steam.
Back at where Sigma had holed himself up at Jeric reappeared and informed Siggy on his actions.
Crash caught sight of ProtoX, and halted in his tracks. He turned, grinned, and waved. "Protoman, child of Light, I shall CRUSH you!" He flipped open his shoulder panels, showing that all those rockets had regenerated, and launched the whole payload.
ProtoX: Oh come on!
Haven't you trashed the place enough!?
ProtoX pulled his PX-Staff out and
began twirling it until it turned into a neon shield. All the rockets slammed
into the spinning spear and exploded.
ProtoX: You know. Normally, I'd let
Rock handle this, but since I'm in a bad mood, I'm going to have to steal his
fun.
ProtoX marched towards Crash with his PX-Staff pointed, blade first,
to the ground.
Crash lunged for ProtoX, swinging a heavy left hook, ignoring anything else around him.
Sigma lept out of
his chair and seemed extremely pissed off.
"what!?...Jeric we are not to
use reploids or have them attack each other, our quarrel is with Zero and the
hunters that will stay alongside him,I don`t want us to use hunter to kill
hunter battle should have two sides and not be a place where you fight a
comrade"
---
Kage shot his arm up to catch a chunk of stone as it
fell from the ceiling by Crashs lil exit. With a sigh he pushes off the wall and
heads after the walking arsenal.
"this will be loud....."
The punch connected
and ProtoX was sent flying out the wall of Hunter Base, leaving a nice crater in
his place. ProtoX got up, rubbing his head.
ProtoX: Oh, you'll
pay!
He jumped to his feet, grabbed his beam saber and charged back into
Hunter base swinging his PX-Staff towards Crash's head.
Crash swung an arm up, the blade striking against the the thick armor, crash sneering. "Light shall fall!"
Kage quickly jumped out of reach of the fight, watching upsidedown from the roof, wrapping the tails of his scarf around his arm.
ProtoX: You
wish!
ProtoX took his foot and swung it towards Crash's side.
Crash took the hit, and his arm dropped, clutching the unarmored part of his side. "Arrg, damn that cheap bastard Wily!"
ProtoX grinned, grabbed Crash's head and flung him towards the elevator as it was closing.
Kages scythe flew out and jammed the doors.
Crash went right through the doors, and hit the bottom of the elevator shaft hard. He slowly hefted himself up, and looked himself over for damage. Minimal damage on his armor, some nasty damage to his lower side. He scowled, then did the little V thing. "Following in the grand tradition Wily first set forth, if at first you don't succeed, RUN!" Crash barged through, tromping to get out the doors.
ProtoX: What the...?
Kage pushed off the
ceiling and grabbed the scythe, looking back at ProtoX he shrugged and walked
over to the stairs.
"Sine,Sandstar if your coming move it!"
ProtoX's eyes narrowed. It was the same guy who attacked Zero earlier. He gripped the pole of his PX-Staff, but never once lifted it. He continued to stare before turning to leave.
"Actually, I'm not really sure if I'd classify as a reploid, but I definately am robotic." Fliar smirked, "For the life of me I can't remember my creator. In fact the only thing I DO recall from those times is that I have a brother that I hate." She sighed and looked up as she spoke.
Mai smiled, "My past is not something you would likely want to hear. Funny thing, though. The term 'Maverick', or as some prefered, 'Irregular', used to mean something completely different. Repliroids were created to help humans in labor and menial tasks, but they had their own free will, and some didn't appreciate subjegation. Those that rose up against the humans were in the minority, an against the original purpose of the repliroids, and as such were 'irregular.'" She paused to exhale some smoke, "Since these irregular repliroids more often than not resorted to sudden violence, both terms, irregular and maverick, came to mean a repliroid or other robot that harms or has harmed a human. Now... who knows what Zero justifies it as, in his warped mind." She turned and started to leave for the elevator, "But I'm sure I'm boring you with the history lesson, most already know or don't care.
Flair wouldn't
admit it but she herself wasn't knowledgable on the subject. Maybe she should
reconsider her position in this war. She didn't really care much if she was
doing what some people considered to be "ethical," but she never liked that
nut-job Zero. Then again she liked Kage even less. Even still, that other
maverick... For some reason he intrigued her. She actually felt remorse for
punching him.
Flair looked at her fist, which she realized was clenched.
Then she turned to take her own leave.
Kage looked over at a billboard hanging by one nail on the wall, plucking a picture of a poncho clad reploid, with a smirk he crumpled it up and walked out of the hunter base, looking around, making sure the scarf was tied tight he dashed off into the streets heading back to base.
"Well, Mr. Clean...Get this through your thick skull. What I do is none of your business. I got you a decent wad of cash and caused a little chaos by sending Crashmanga...seconed rate robot master 'upgraded' and redesigned by Wily...as a descraction while I got the hell out of dodge. Yea, I screwed up challanging Zero to a fight. We all make mistakes, but, unlike you, I managed to make it out without having to be carried out clinging to life." Thanks in no small part to a timely appearance by Mr. Mystery. Jeric glared at his 'superior'. "You never had any problems about reploid on reploid violence before. Maybe hte virus in you has run its course. Thats all well and good but you have to understand this. We are at war Sigma, one YOU started. Save the bitching till this is over and i have Zero's head on a platter with his brain scrambled byond any hope of repair." He turned to go, the off white cape closing around his armor forming a slightly dingy old style lab coat. "If you need anything I'll be in the training rooms. My sabre skills have obviousely gotten rusty over the years."
There was the sound
of a beam saber igniting and Sigma quickly jumped in front of Jeric.
"Now
you listen to me,the virus was doing that, you think I enjoyed what it made me
do,do you!?....I screamed out in the back of my mind to try and get my body to
stop and you don`t you dare blame me of starting this war...when Zero turned war
was declared,I`m just trying to give the people a chance of saving
themselves"
Sigma sneered and walked out of the room, going to his private
chamber before collasping in his chair, beam saber falling to his
side.
".....I need more time to repair..."
Jeric growled as
Sigma left. "Since when did you ever care about people Sigma. All you cared for
was Order, even before the infection and subversion you were always an asshole."
He stalked away and down several corridors and halways, along the way a large
mechanical dog padded up beside him.
I take it your still pissed that
it took somebody else to bail you out for you to get out
alive.
"Gospel," Jeric sighed, "Please don't bring that up alright?
He wanted no reploid on reploid violence unless it could be helped...fine, I
left you here so I wouldn't be tempted to atomize the whole damned place from
the inside." The two continued walking till they made it to a near empty room.
Letting the door close Jeric slumped against one of the walls and held gospel's
head in his lap. "I'm glad I told Roll to run...I just hope she's
alright."
OOC: In case anyone
wonders and/or cares, I'm not dead. I HAVE been reading along for once, so I
know perfectly what's going on. ^_^
AdamS overheard the arguement between
Jeric and Sigma...hell, the entire base heard it. Jeric was always a hothead
antisocialist that took orders from no one. Him and that dog, Gospel.. Hearing
Gospel even in his head instantly reminded him of before the Cataclysm, before
most of the Cossack family...he shook his head slightly, getting the thoughts
out of his head and continued working. But before long, a tap on his shoulder
told him that his computer shift was over. He got up and another reploid took
his place. AdamS stretched and went off to do whatever he did on his break,
which wasn't much really.
(...Corvus, you do
realize that they are hunters, right? and sorry, I was at work all day, so I
couldnt type anything. )
Sandstar looks at Sine when they heard Kage call out
to them.
"Follow him?" Sandstar asks. Sine shrugs and starts out after him.
Sandstar quickly follows.
Kage stopped in his
tracks and waited for the two hunters to catch up,patting the front of his
armour.
"your probably confused why I asked if you were coming, can I just
ask you, what are you fighting for?"
After a time Jeric got to his feet and padded to one of the larger sparring rooms and began his normal workout.
Flair was restless so she decided it was a good idea to see if she could sneak into the Maverick base, if she could find it. Suddenly a thought occured to her and she went to go look for Mai, and possibly Crash, before leaving.
Crash was still moving, not really sure where he was going. Looking for someplace secluded, in any case, to lick his wounds and let the bassnium powered auto-repair work it's wonders.
Gato yawned as she
wandered the sidewalk with a bag strapped to her side. Because she can be a cat
at will, she was mostly the one who volunteers to run to the junk yard without
being caught by a hunter (Most hunters don't find blasting a cat
amusing).
Once at the junk yard, she pulled her bag open and began
throwing useful parts into it.
Mai was sitting in a slightly blacked lounge sofa in the third floor, catching a nap after all the excitement.
Sine looks at Kage.
"Well, that is a simple question. What we are fighting for is the chance to
survive," she tells him.
"We just want to get out of this alive, and it
would be less thing for us to worry about if we don't have to fight Zero to
accomplish that fact, since he seems to be quite good at killing Mavericks,"
Sandstar adds.
"And, to top this off, we would have a better chance of
getting through this if we fight rather then sit around and wait for something
or someone to get around to killing us," Sine finishes off. "And now, to be
fair, you answer the question you just asked us."
"I fight to protect
others...always have done, always will....true your safe from Zero now but when
the time comes and theres no mavericks left what makes you think he won`t purge
his own ranks?....I am offering you not just a chance of survival but to protect
others who can`t defend themselves...at least think about what I
said"
"wait"
"sorry no time"
He backed away from them and
seemd to explode in a puff of black smoke.
"Hmmm? The actions over? Well then, I dont have any reason for now being here." Shadow thought and vanished from the Hunter Base.
On a whim, Flair
went to the break room on the third floor. She saw Mai napping on the couch and
across the room Crashmanga was crashing on the green futon. She grabbed
some kind of bottled beverage from the fridge not really caring what it was, and
opened it with her teeth as she decided not to wake them. Flair walked slowly to
one end of the room and stood there facing the wall for exactly fifteen seconds.
Suddenly, she broke into a full-out sprint in the opposite direction and dived
out the window. She landed, creating a network of fissures, then proceded to
leap accross the terrrain at great distances, showing reckless abandon.
It wasn't flying, but it was close. At this rate she was sure to find
some fun if not Maverick HQ itself.
