Alimar, unsuprisingly, followed Cadrien in choosing one of the Dark rooms. After all, most necromatic spells were best carried out in the dark...
Boneboo leapt from his shoulder and began to scurry along the cold flagstones, his bony paws clicking on the stone as he scrabbled to every corner of the room before runing back and jumping back to his perch on Alimar's shoulder.
"So what do you think?" Alimar pulled the hood of his robe away from his face, enjoying the feeling of the cool air on his face after the stuffiness of the hood. Boneboo nodded his approval, "Yeah, I like it too." Alimar affirmed. The room was a bit spartan but had everything he needed, Alimar tossed his staff onto the bed and sat down beside it. It had been a long day so far and it showed no sign of ending.

Naomi: You don't have to apoligize. It was my fault after all. I gotta hurry so...um...bye. C ya later.

She ran down the hall and entered the water room.

Chameleo was having trouble finding a room that fitted his specialty. There were some for all of the varous magiks, except his. Then again, his was fairly rare, after all. He sent a few images of himself to test out the place, see if there was anyone up ahead who might be of help. After a secon, he figured there wasn't. A pity, to be sure. He kept looking, and finally found one close to what he did, forestry. Close enough, though not what he had been hoping for. Before entering, however, he scaned the hall quickly and noticed that a door was missing. There was a blank plaque above where it should have been, which he found VERY odd. He walked over, felt around where the door should have been, and found a knob. He opened the door, and found the illusionist room. He figured he'd be better off with forestry, and closed the door behind him. He needed practice in his forest magics anyway.

White-Jet had no clue where her room was. She was practically non of the elements that were mentioned in there. She decided to take a room by random and walked into the Light room. After putting her stuff down (except for her plushies), she walked out and back to the group.

Posted by Sokket on 28.06.2002 at 09:49 AM:

Vair had to hurry. Everyone else had already chosen their rooms. Almost. There appeared to be one other person that was a little late, but Vair just ignored the guy. He wanted to get a good spot. When he saw his choices Vairen was ultimately torn. He like the light rooms, but the earth ones were good aswell. He warily began to walk towards the light. But then he noticed the glowing lights that looked to be always on at the near the ceiling, so he steered over to the earth rooms. They'll probably let me swich later... possibly.

Posted by CrashMan on 28.06.2002 at 10:33 AM:

Chameleo shifted his room a little, modifying the magics, using them to twist one's perspective, so that it looked like the bed was on the wall, and the room twisted. he was shifting it just enough, an dgetting it to look like his old room. He wondered if he'd have to have a roommate.

Posted by Sokket on 28.06.2002 at 01:04 PM:

Vairen walked up and down the long earthen floored cooridor lined with doors. Every once in a while he'd stop and open a door, look around the room a little bit, then close it and continue pacing. A few times there were people inside doing things that would be rather embarassing if they knew someone had seen them. But Vair didn't notice. He was a little to absorbed in his thought to notice much of anything, at least anything that appeared remotely normal. Once when he opened yet another random door he saw a very twisted room. His perspective of it was rather disorienting. The bed wasn't even on the floor! He blinked and looked around a little, then to the occupant said, "What are you doing? We're supposed to meet back in the central room to continue the tour."

Posted by Timberwolf on 28.06.2002 at 01:21 PM:

Alimar reluctantly decided to leave his staff on the bed, it was too heavy to be dragging around school all day and Alimar's arms were starting to hurt. Boneboo glared at Alimar with empty sockets, condemning his decision to leave the staff behind.
"Don't worry." he reassured the undead rodent, Alimar spoke a few words of power and flourished his left hand, "See, I've protected it. If anyone tries to take it now, all the flesh on their bones will melt away." Boneboo nodded, acknowledging a job well done.
"We best rejoin the group." Alimar threw his hood back over his face and walked from his room, heading back towards the central room.

Posted by CrashMan on 28.06.2002 at 01:47 PM:

Chameleo twisted his room just the way he wanted, then left for the main room again.

OOC: Eiji was mine first. Remember the hawk in Guardians of the Realm.

Reiko quickly ran into the center hall and skidded to a halt crashing into a few of the new arrivals like himself, though none were of the same race.As he picked himself up off the ground his hawk quickly swooped down and snatched what was left of Reikos breakfast,"Eiji!.....*sigh*....dosen`t matter lets just get moving".

OOC: ... ... ... *blink* ... ... ... no ... ... ... I don't think I read that ... ... ...

Posted by Author X on 29.06.2002 at 10:59 PM:

OOC: I'll vouch for 'im, that's the same IFF Cadrien was originally from... I lost track of it and stop trying to keep up early on, though, so I still need to evolve the character. That and I never intended him for continuity, just to pop up where-ever

IC: Cadrien got up as a Prorewyr flapped in the air and hissed at Eiji. "Hey, watch were you're going!"

Naomi entered the hall, looking at a small stream going across the hall.

Naomi: ...well this is cozy.

Posted by Author X on 30.06.2002 at 05:26 PM:

OOC: Um... what? I already described the water hallway as having a small stream and pond, and what do you mean the tour ended?

Posted by Mako on 30.06.2002 at 05:42 PM:

OOC: OH CRAP. Missed that. Sorry. I'll fix it.

OOC: Hope i Can join. You can consider this guy that wolf you were talkin about.

Name: Kiopu
Description: Light grey with green eyes. Wears a trenchcoat and black sweatpants.
Race?: Wolf
Handed: righthanded
Age: 14
Major: Lightning Magic
Minor: Water Magic
Stuff: He uses a swallow to fight with.

Kiopu had chosen a room in the Lightning hall. It was a normal room but was green. He put his stuff down and went to the main hall with the others.

Posted by Tiamat Zero on 01.07.2002 at 09:11 AM:

Erekiteru moved to one of the Lightning rooms, pushing a door open and looking around. No one was in this...yet anyway so she moved in quietly.
Setting her pack down on her bed it jumped a bit and she quickly undid the locks, a little cat-like thing hopping out and shaking off. He was a shade of orange-yellow, with a little tuft of black hair with white tips and orange-red eyes. He had small digital looking wings and a small lightning bolt mark on his back. His tail was long and easily made of pure muscle, so he could balance. This little one could fly, without moving his wings and the end of his tail looked like a mew (sue me bwaha)

She smiled and stroked his head.
"Sorry bout that Deka."

Posted by Timberwolf on 01.07.2002 at 02:21 PM:

Alimar watched as the students shuffled out of their rooms and out of the Dark dormitories, even the dim light couldn't conceal the motley group who had chosen to make the Dark their home. Alimar shuddered and stroked Boneboo, at least he was normal...

OOC: Deka? Even more GotR bleed-through, me thinks!

Posted by AdamS on 01.07.2002 at 07:26 PM:

OOC: OK, since Tia is taking her time in replying to my post above, I'll just post some stuff before I talked to her. Also look at my joining form, because I added something.

Ein yawned as he took an unofficial tour of the Fire rooms. All of his roommates were obvious pyros. They were mad, though, as there was nothing flammable besides the torches, and they knew that if they were burned, the Fire room would just turn into another Dark room. They began creating flames on the floor. They all sighed at different times and walked off to the main room. Ein was alone. He shifted his eyes. He then put out his palm and pointed it an angle at the floor. He began concentrating very hard. Teleportation of other organisms wasn't easy. A form began phasing into the room. It was done after a bit. A dog stood, looking at Ein. Ein pointed at the bed he had chosen and the dog dashed under it. Ein sighed, smiled, and walked to the main room.

OOC: I dont remember anyone talkin to me >-< would you care to refresh?
And yes...I miss Zen and Deka they had potential....Ah well its over now so Deka is a bit of a bleed-through...same personality same name diff form.

Ein: Hello, there! My name is Ein. What is your name?

OOC: One, yes I'm talking about Erekiteru. Two, Tia can post if she inspects her room, unpacks, etc. before I said hi.

Posted by Tiamat Zero on 02.07.2002 at 01:50 PM:

OOC: THankiez

Erekiteru and Deka looked at him.
She said nothing, and just stayed silent as she watched him, her long striped tail wavering in the air behind her.

Posted by AdamS on 02.07.2002 at 01:55 PM:

Ein blinked.

Ein: Are you okay? Did I say something wrong?

Posted by Tiamat Zero on 03.07.2002 at 07:29 AM:

"No...nothing."
She walked past him and headed back to her room.

OOC: the reason why she is so stand-offish is because many people make it hard on pokemorphs whenever they see them (except for the pokemorphs themselves) because they were pokemon or humans that were created from a very painful series of DNA splicing and re-creating.
After that people have no respect for them whatsoever...well most of any other race.

Posted by White-Jet on 03.07.2002 at 08:20 AM:

White-Jet had watched the short conversation going on between Ein and those weird looking creatures. She shrugged a little because most people would call her strange, not because of her living plushies, but because she was a shapeshifter. She sometimes kept her shapeshifting powers a secret, but she wasn't sure how many people are going to see her hidden powers.

The one power people knew about was her plushies. They were the only ones who can move and talk and sometimes change on her command. No one...not even her sister knows she can shapeshift.

Alimar had returned to the centre room and was waiting patiently in the corner. He'd managed to avoid talking to any students, partially by design and partially because no-one would come near him anyway. He leaned against the wall and wondered when they were going to be given a tour of the classrooms.

Posted by White-Jet on 03.07.2002 at 08:46 AM:

The Liger Zero plushie noticed Alimar and jumped off White-Jet, walking up to him. It rubbed against his leg, roaring.

OOC: I forgot to mention that when Liger Zero's a plushie, it tends to act like a cat sometimes.

Posted by Timberwolf on 03.07.2002 at 09:05 AM:

Alimar bent down to take a closer look at the strange creature rubbing at his legs, it seemed to be some sort of animated toy? Illusion magic perhaps? Boneboo, suspicious of the plushie jumped from Alimar's shoulder, landing on Liger Zero's head and sniffing.

Posted by White-Jet on 03.07.2002 at 09:08 AM:

Liger Zero wasn't startled by the appearance of the undead hamster. It just stood there, letting the hamster crawl around it, sniffing every part of it's body.

Posted by Timberwolf on 03.07.2002 at 10:51 AM:

Coming to a conclusion, Boneboo slid off Liger Zero and onto the floor. Boneboo scurried up to Liger Zero and bit him on the butt, hard enough to get him to leave but not hard enough to do any damage.

Posted by White-Jet on 03.07.2002 at 10:53 AM:

Ligar Zero roared in pain and zoomed off, yelping. It jumped back onto White-Jet's shoulders before she walked off into one of the classrooms.

Posted by Timberwolf on 03.07.2002 at 11:44 AM:

Another robed figure hobbled into the central room. Alimar couldn't tell the age or sex of it, though he assumed whatever it was that it was old, the fugure leaned heavily on it's staff using it as a crutch. The figure coughed, trying to clear it's bone-dry throat, to Alimar it sounded like a death rattle. The figure turned as if only now seeing Alimar and removed his hood. Alimar suppressed a gasp, the man beneath the robes looked as if was nearly dead! His porcelain white skin was stretched tightly over his jutting bones, the faint traceries of veins and arteries visible. His head was devoid of hair except for the few white wisps that defiantly clung to his scalp.
"Ah, the apprentice Necromancer, yess?" He rasped, "I am Lucidane The Dead." Alimar frowned trying to comprehend what he was being told, Lucidane as if reading his expression under the cowl continued, "It is only a nickname, I am fully alive. Barely." Alimar assumed what followed was laughter but it could easily have been more coughing, "I am the Necromancy professor and you are my student. It's a shame so few people are studing Necromancy, it's a dying art." More chuckles, "Any way I know how most apprentice Necromancers are uncomfortable around other students, so I have come to give you a personal tour of the Necromantic classrooms." Lucidane hobbled off suprisingly quickly, leaving the confused Alimar and Boneboo running to catch up with him.

Posted by CrashMan on 03.07.2002 at 11:46 AM:

Chameleo watched the odd assembly of people. He felt it was getting boring, and decided to spice things up. He cast a whole slew of illusions,s ome of them frightening, some of them beautiful, all of them strange. He kept them up for a few seconds, then dropped them again.

Posted by AdamS on 03.07.2002 at 12:06 PM:

Ein was confused. He had done nothing wrong...or had he? He didn't know, but he felt either way he should do something special for the girl. Maybe a gift or something...Ein didn't care about the tour now. He returned to the rooms and began working.

Posted by Sokket on 03.07.2002 at 12:17 PM:

About half an hour later a very short woman apeared holding a lantern. She appeared to be a halfling or something like one, "This way please. Now that you're all settled we'll continue the tour and show you where your classes will be. How and where you will get your dinner. And where to go for other vital and non-vital activities. Quickly please." Without waiting to see if the students were following, she turn on heel and walked back out of the room. Leaving it to the actual students for them to see the rest of the tour.

OOC: I thought we should pick up the pace a bit.

Posted by White-Jet on 03.07.2002 at 01:25 PM:

White-Jet didn't want to be left behind and ran after the lantern holding woman.

Posted by AdamS on 03.07.2002 at 02:57 PM:

Ein paced in the empty room. He was trying to think of something to do for the girl he had supposedly upset. He couild give her something like a material item, but he had no money, things, or way to go to a store. Ein sighed and continued pacing.

Posted by Sirth Osiris on 04.07.2002 at 10:29 AM:

Kio walked through the door frst, since he was closer.
Hope it's quick. I wanna get on with this.
You will soon, be patient.
Kio stopped for a second, wondering if that was the woman in front of him. He dismissed it and kept walking as a few students got ahead of him.
