| Okay, so this is a very small section. That makes it easy for me to tell you approximately when these were written. You're Innating was written my senior year of high school so my band could have a song to play. We never bothered to write it. Cool was apparently written in eighth grade. I know it fell out of my notebook from that time, so it's a little rough. As was most of my work then. I'm thinking about leaving that notebook off this site because the poetry in there is so very bad. And The Truth Hurts is from eighth grade as well. In fact, it is my first poem. And unlike most of the poems from that time, it's actually above terrible. I wrote it for English class. My teacher gave me a 10/10 with the note: "This is kinda scary..." Thus began my twisted poetic endeavor. |
