DARK ADVENTURE

I walked in the room Noting my surroundings Things that seemed so out of place Only to mingle insistently Heroic disillusionment Evokes a feeling deep inside Leads me down a stairway Leads me into darkness And I cannot control it Nothing can stop me from becoming Destroyed by my surroundings Brought down by all around me And I was so unaware Caught in the depths of a hole Kept downstairs where nobody knows Together with the darkness Over all the thrills Hiking to oblivion Everything has killed And Darkness and I Venture further down Enveloping ourselves Needle our way into the depth And succumb to the terror Left in the pit Lonely and afraid So we run back up the stairs Only to lose sight of the door Until we realize we are no more Loss of hope consumes us So we trudge back Down those stairs Eventually I realize Something must be done This is not the time to die Reawaken and start anew Or else You go deep into hell and back to heaven, all souls destroyed by eleven Entertaining the thought of rebirth recharges me Destiny calls and I await Because I know I'm bound for something Yet not quite sure of what it is Everything will change Let me see if it gets better Elevate myself again Venture into a strange land Everything so nice Never to take place
