I barely sputter out a murmured hi Then I realize it's too late. It sounds like ha And I have just successfully stepped in gum It happens all the time, I tell you To them, it's all just for fun I feel like leaping into the sea I'm sure that, later, my home will be a pub It's so difficult these days to tell I am blind and cannot see This road is very poorly lit But I will survive, too I can make it through the darkness In the distance, there's a yell Something's out and on the prowl here Will I make it out alive I inch out, find a gap, and take a leap Will I make it What have I jumped into I'll land nearby very soon We'll go on vacation to Hawaii It'll be quite lively and entertaining This poem was something to experiment with Read along the right |
