WILL I MAKE IT?
I barely sputter out a murmured hi
Then I realize it's too late.  It sounds like ha
And I have just successfully stepped in gum
It happens all the time, I tell you
To them, it's all just for fun
I feel like leaping into the sea
I'm sure that, later, my home will be a pub
It's so difficult these days to tell
I am blind and cannot see
This road is very poorly lit
But I will survive, too
I can make it through the darkness
In the distance, there's a yell
Something's out and on the prowl here
Will I make it out alive
I inch out, find a gap, and take a leap
Will I make it
What have I jumped into
I'll land nearby very soon
We'll go on vacation to Hawaii
It'll be quite lively and entertaining
This poem was something to experiment with
