Clothing of Infernal Gaslamp

"We want overcoats and cravats and goulashes, and every aid that man ever inevented to fight the weather."
-Sherlock Holmes

Quite a complex issue, this clothing.

Because of Infernal Gaslamp's being set in 2 separate time periods, the clothing varies drastically.

By the time of Infernal Gaslamp--1894--, crinolines and bustles were gone, and the look was now slimmer, and more decorative. Leg o' mutton sleeves (tight from wrist to elbow, then poofing out) were en vogue, and new designers such as Charles Worth were emerging in the fashion scene.
