This page is a quick description of what has happened most recently in Infernal Gaslamp. We have sessions about every 2-3 weeks, so that's how often this will be updated.

"Nor yet forget how Venice once was dear,
The pleasant place of all festivity,
The revel of the earth, the masque of Italy!"

-Lord Byron

Ah, Byron. How could he have known that our experience with Venice would have made us never wnat to visit again? Danielle is quite gone, as is any prospect of a relationship between Marion and Quentin.

After an interesting encounter with a living plague (that disappears..), Inspector Renard showed up, and commented that he had a proposition that would make him drop all charges against Islington regarding the opium / taduki dealing. We agreed to meet him at 7 for a discussion.

On the way to the resteraunt, Marion was stopped dead in her tracks by a voice from the past--namely, her brother Jim, who she hasn't seen for 5 years. They made small talk for a while, and caught up on old times, as Jim expressed his disbelief that Marion was travelling on the Trans-Europa Express. (He also "affectionately" gave nicknames to everyone in the party). We all met Renard for dinner, and Marion discovered that Quentin is no longer interested in a romance with her. Jim Gray had a spot of trouble getting into the restaraunt, and also revealed that he needed £50 to travel back to England and give his fiancée a nice wedding. Marion was shocked into submission, and Isly kindly gave Jim what he needed.

As was expected, the next we had to go to the wedding of Arturo DiAvalon and Allessandra Paquina . We were planning on a wonderful wedding, however, the bride had disappeared and (as Marion found out later) been taken away by cultists. As we were just about to go into the sewers, Jim pulled Marion up and told us we had to go to the train station. With some attempted bribes and sorts underway, we took the train.

Clara began the discussion of certain facts regarding people trying to kill her, and Marion tried (and failed miserably) to explain that it was for her own good. Marion then yelled everything that had happened to her recently (ie. being recruited by Illuminati, Quentin Andrews wanting Clara dead, etc, etc.) and stormed out. (Only to realize that Ghost was in the other room, and come storming back in)

After some debating, Michael unhitched the train car, Marion made some sarcastic comments (and was thusly gagged), and the party arrived in an old abandoned Roman outpost.

(More to come....I haven't finished typing this all up)

We are travelling on the Trans-Europa Express, a luxury train. The TEE travels from Paris to Constantinople, stopping by Zurich, Milan, Venice, Vienna, Budapest, and Thessalonica. If you look a ways down, there is a map of a train car on the TEE.

It's been a while since we began the voyage (a few sessions) and right now we are leaving a very tumultous Venice. Our current mission (from Sir Johnathan Moore) is to find 3 parts of a reliquary. They are the Lost Smith's Amulet of Solar Splendor, the Horned One's Mask of Distortion, and the Warbringer's Hand. We have found the first two, but Quentin Andrews stole the first from us, and Mr. Shiny and Diana L'Carrick took the second.

Lionell's scarab seems to be breeding, Clara has things coming out of her back, and Carter has had his arms sewn together by Dr. Byron Shelley (under the influence of the god Incubus). Marion is an emotional wreck.

Most recently, Clara and Lionell went on what seemed like a romantic gondola ride, but ended up being tied naked to each other in the Venitian sewers. Don't worry, the rest of the party (namely, Isly, Marion, and Danielle) saved them. Kind of. During the battle in the sewers, we made the aquaintance of one Mr. Shiny and found out some unfortunate things about the Opera singer Diana L'Carrick. (They're part of a Cthulhu cult, and seemingly made of "living shadow").

So we fought, Danielle killed some cultists, Marion almost drowned (saved by Lionell), and Clara ended up getting enveloped by Mr. Shiny, which covered her skin with acid burns, cuts, etc. Finally, they got out, and Marion suggested that they find Quentin Andrews and see if he could help Clara (who now has no hair).

Because Marion and Quentin were supposed to meet for dinner, the party found him with roses, waiting for the BS6's resident servant. He then healed Clara, Danielle, and Lionell, and cancelled the "appointment" with Marion.

Danielle then announced that she needed to leave because of her Aunt Cosette's illness, and promptly did so.
