people are mages in one (or perhaps two), yet Quentin
Andrews brags that he is a master in all nine of the schools.
The Nine Schools of Magick
- Monastic- Judeao-Xian Islamic
Religious magick with basis in the three major religions. It
deals with asking for acts of divine intervention, miracles etc.
- Templar- Grecco Roman
Magick based on the mathematical arts and ability to reconfigure
base spells to fit the casters need.
- Heraldic- Carolingian
Magick of the Elves, based upon ritual tattooing and spells,
which act thereupon.
- Ka- Babyl Egyptoid
A type of Magick based upon following one particular Middle Eastern
deities and receiving the blessings thereof
- Avatar- Hindu Buddhist
The Magick of the Far East, it's powers deal with magick through
mediation and self-discipline to extend the limitations of the
human body/ mind
- Occult- Celto Scythian
Magick arts based on the tenets of witchcraft and Barbarian shamanry,
centered in England and the Baltics
- Nahual- Indo Columbian
The Magicks of the native peoples of North and South America,
it deals with the worship of guardian spirits which imbue magical
powers
- Voodoo- Pan Afro Haitian
The shunned magick of Africa and the West Indies, it deals with
ancestor worship and necromancy
- Shaman- Cthulhu
Magick of the South Seas based on the arcane power of the Elder
Gods and their high priest, Cthulhu.
