About The [GOD] Clan Greek Mythology Clan Information Clan Rules Joining Ranking Greek Mythology Mother Earth, Gaia, produced a son, Uranus, who was the sky. Then they had children. Rain fell from the sky onto the Earth, making plants grow; animals appeared from the rivers and ocean. Next, many strangely-shaped monsters and giants were born. Among these were three Cyclops--each of whom had only one huge eye in the middle of his forehead. Uranus treated them cruelly and banished them to the Underworld. Later, some human-shaped giants, called Titans, were born; they later became the first gods and goddesses. Mother Earth could not forgive her husband Uranus for his treatment of her first children and encouraged the Titans, lead by Cronos, to rebel against their father. He attacked and overpowered Uranus with a sickle and took power from him. Three drops of Uranus' blood fell on the earth and formed the Furies (Erinyes). They had a dog's head and bat's wings and were the spirits of revenge and justice. They hounded murderers, especially those who killed a relative. Another drop fell into the sea, creating foam from which was born the goddess Aphrodite. Cronos married his sister and became King of the Titans. They had five children but Cronos had been warned that one of them would kill him; so, he swallowed each one as it was born. To save her sixth child, Rhea tricked Cronos into swallowing a stone wrapped in baby's clothing and hid the child among some lesser nature goddesses called nymphs who brought him up safely. This child was Zeus. When he grew up, Zeus returned home in disguise and slipped a potion into Cronos' drink, making him choke. The children he had swallowed were coughed out, whole and safe. They were his daughters Hestia, Demeter, and Hera, and sons Pluto and Poseidon. A fierce battle then took place. Zeus freed the Cyclops who made thunderbolts for him to hurl. They also made a forked trident for Poseidon, and a helmet that made its wearer invisible for Pluto. But, most of the Titans and giants sided with Cronos. After a terrible struggle the younger gods were victorious. The Titans were banished: one of them, Atlas, was made to hold up the heavens as punishment. Zeus became ruler of the sky and king of all the gods. Poseidon was made king of the Ocean and Hades of the Underworld. The home of the gods was Mount Olympus. At first, because it was relatively inaccessible, it was thought to be the actual home of the gods; later it became an imaginary place high above the earth. Clan Information The clan's creation is in no way Religous, or making a mockery of any religous type. The clan as a whole recognizes that there is a different between Real Life and Fictional life, and we try as best as possible not to cross both lines. We also realise that respect comes from hardwork, and persistence, we have not come for a handout, we have come to earn the respect from the infiltration community, and respect the community while doing so. The [GOD]Clan tries to portray the highest form of skill, respect, integrity, organization, and hardwork. We will do so by playing to the best of our ability, and acting as though we have played the game before. We will not disrespect other players, we ask that you do the same for us. We will play the game in an organized professional manner, and we will try to get better and better as the days pass on... Hopefully, we will see you on the darkside of the moon... Clan Rules + As a member of [GOD] you must portray qualities of: honesty, integrity, respect, honor, pride, hardwork, and modesty. + Also you must realise that any any actions you portray reflects on those actions of the clan. + Follow the rules of the server, they are not our servers, they are the property of someone else, therefore... -Do not swear -Do not gun rape -Do not spam -Do not argue on the server -Do not bad mouth others -Do not spawn nade -Do not play 3rd team -Do not change text -Etc... + If any complaints are made about a person on a regular basis, action will be taken, may or may not result in that member being removed from the clan. + If you have complaints about anyone whether they be [GOD] affiliated or not, present me with VALID SCREENSHOTS, and appropriate action will be taken from there. + Give the admins a break! + If you say you will show up for a clan match, you must have a VALID excuse, please do not skip clan matches, this is one of the harshest things you can do to your clanmates + If you question whether what you are doing is against the rules, DONT DO IT... Joining To join [GOD] Clan you can do many things... First you may, post in the [GOD] Forums, and ask to join, and wait for us to reply... In both cases we will discuss what we think of you, and decide whether we want you to play more, or when to schedule a match where you may face one of our talented members in a 1 on 1, where we will observer your technique, attitude, skill level and so on... depending on our thoughts you will be official member/[TR], or not make it at all... Feel free to ask us anything about joining, we are open to the thought of anyone joining, no matter... Ranking Ranking will go in the realm of... Commander General Colonel Lieutenant Colonel Major Captain Lieutenant Sergeant Corporal Private You can work your way up in the ranks by, seniority, skill, respect in the infiltration community, and helping out... However, I dont really believe in rankings, most people expect every clan to have rankings. I consider all members of the clan as equals. Just follow the rules, and you will be ranked highly in my book.
