	Poseidon was the brother of Zeus and Hades. Between the 3 of them they divided creation into 3 portions. Poseidon recieved rule over the sea, and storm. Although he was officially one of the highest rulers of Mt. Olympus he stayed in his watery domain. Poseidon was often pictured driving his chariot through the waves, in a dominant demeanor. Poseidon often had many disputes over land with other gods. He was always trying to prove his strength, he once struck the land and sprung water from a crack created by his 3 prong spear. Another of Poseidons many powers was, shape shifting he was known to take on the image of a bull, or horse.
