He looks at what he has done and wonders what it was all for. Finally his dreams come true, the atom bomb explodes, signaling the start of the new revolution. The light from it is so bright that no one can hide from it. It will touch all parts of the world and every part within as well. It is beautiful. Can we handle such beauty? Cover your eyes! No. Look at it straight on and become blinded from beauty so it is the last memory of sight. This is what the concept of Machina/the machines of God means to me. It may not be the correct response. I don't really care. But, it has given me hope. It has let me know that the Man that I owe a lot to, my life in some ways, cares enough for us to let us take control as a parent should for his child. I may be a weird deranged obsessed fan, but it doesn't matter to me. I know what this means to me. I will forever hold it sacred within myself. It will mean something totally different to each person. This album and the ones before it have given me hope like nothing else in the world has before. It is a bid farewell and also a hello to the world. I thank the Pumpkins for everything they have done. I don't know Billy Corgan, he doesn't know me. But Billy has a connection with each of the fans on a different level. Few past musicians have been able to reach this level with their fans. Billy has not done what he has done in vain. He saved the lives of many people. And that is the most heroic thing someone can do. He has pushed our lives in a better direction whether he knows it or not. And I say thank you on behalf of every other Smashing Pumpkins fan out there. -Parker Davidson
