On existence
We all create duplicates of ourselves in order to survive. Why do we do so? Well, biology can explain that we are animals, living organisms. By definition, a living organism is something that can replicate itself, like a virus, a fish, and a welfare mother. That is one reason for our existence, and I accept that. I will not explain in detail as to how organism reproduces, for I am sure you already know and I would like to this website not be banned from any institution, either.
However, there is yet another question of our existence. Why do we exist like so? We are born with the most intelligent minds of the animal kingdom. We are superior to all that surround us in thought. Anything we lack ,we make up in technology. Many people believed that we were created by a higher power, whereas others believe that we were lucky in the evolutionary ladder to surpass all others. for those who have faith, it was a god that created us. For those who have another faith, it was extraterrestrials (I do not mean the meteor from Mars). For those who have yet another faith, it is gradual adaptation. For those who have no faith, who cares? As long as I can eat In-N-Out burgers and watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I do not care how I got here. As for me, it is everything, yet nothing.
I suppose that most of us are here to plunder the land and make sure we have offspring to continue the dirty work. Is that not true? However, I tend to think differently. As opposed to what most everyone is doing (I confess, I am participate a little as well), people should have a better purpose in life. What is the point of desolating an environment that your kids will have to live in. It makes as much sense as a dead baby. If people wish to survive successfully, they should look forward to the future, that is, to have stability. People who have more kids than they know what to do with them cause their own children's suffering. Life is better than that. To be selfish is to share your misery. It is best to live for the sake of others, for it is better for your children to live in a happier planet. And that ensures an existence as long as time.
