On Friendship
Friendship is a metaphysical bond. It is something that manifests in individuals. However, it cannot be felt by only one individual. Two or more people must feel the same bond in order for this to happen. This bond begins first with a meeting, then with a relation established. Once a relation establishes, a dependency grows. However, the dependency is not like that of children to parents. Rather, it calls for the demand of presence. The presence is not determined by conditions or necessity. The link created by friends generates from sheer will, but it should not be mistaken for whim. This will is part of the will to socialize. This will compliments the will to survive because the human species is a uniquely social being. The person is not required to be present physically, for the other can fell presence regardless of distance. No matter how far apart the two people are, a great friendship will always be there, even after death. The metaphysics of this creates an invincible link, which, not even the people who create it can sever. Such a true friendship can run parallel with time itself among the essence of immortality.
Greats friendships are not reserved for the mentally elite. Anyone with with a true heart can experience a great friendship, no matter who they are.
