On life
What is the purpose of life? What is the reason for living? One of the main reasons is to propagate. Our offspring symbolize our survival because they carry our image and identity, so that when they survive, so do we. We also survive for the sake of our selves and others. Because we are communal, we depend on each other to live. Most of us cannot live alone or we will perish. It is our duty to serve others. We live because we are constantly searching for happiness, whether it is to get rich an famous, or to help others. We want to fulfill our dreams while we have the chance to do so. We want to take advantage of what life has to offer. Our ancestors who put us here had good intentions to bring us life (well, most of us at least) and to not live is to betray their them.
We walk the path of life to confirm our existence. We interact with others to confirm our identity. Only in the eyes in others can we truly feel our own existence. When other people acknowledge our existence, we will recognize our own existence. With a reason, we find a will to live. We can live simply to live , and that may be good enough reason to exist in the first place. Out intelligence tells us to live and we do so without hesitation. We live as long as we can think and think as long as we can do. Life is a blessing that was given to all of us and we do not intend to take it for granted.
