 I try to install
YellowPHP - but i am not accepted as Admin (and I am logged in
as ADMIN). Doesn't it run under PN v0.714?

 It's just out the new
CrossNuke for PHPNUKE 5.5 - 5.6 compatibility with postnuke.
Anybody tried to test if YellowPHP works on it ?
It might be a nice workaround for who has Nuke as
system but can't wait for a Nuked version of the software (ps,
greate software, I must say :) )

use ( i think, i spended too much time with my computer):

could you take

First of all, thank you
very much for your modul!
I think it takes postnuke really
a step further in the possibilities of maintaining a
community.
But ... for my case i need a modified
version, like most of the YP-users i surpose. I know, your
modul has plainty possibilities to do this by my self, but
without a bref description -a " step by step guide" - i have
no idea, where to begin ( sorry, i'm somebody without any
PHP-knowledge ). I tried to find some information at your site
( ... and at all the PN-related sites over the net) but i have
still some questions:
1. I need less fields shown and
possibilities in the submit-menue. This is my main problem.
Where and how i can do this kind of modification?
2.
How can i select the fields, that will be only shown when the
person are paied for it.
3. How can i determine the
order of the categories in the pulldown-menue of the
search-function?
... Thies are my questions for the
beginning. I hope, you could help me, because your modul will
be essential for the portal-idea that i'm going to create. I
know, this will be some work four you, - sorry, but i hope,
your answer will help a lot of peoble like me.
What i
could propose, is to translate your tips for the modification
on german and post it on the german PN-site www.postnuke.de.

Aside the problems with
the anonymous display, i encountered problems sending ads, the
admin section don´t recognize incoming ads, either is showing
the edit bussines, just display the index of tables but not
the content.....
What happen with this versión perhaps
i´m doing something wrong but i don´t know in wich part.
The installation script ran normal: firts i made a new
install and then i edit the content tables to fit my needs, I
put one bussines for all subcategories to force to display it
in the principal categories block and for correct start in the
index page.(without one bussines, the script exceed the 30
seconds time limit in this page)
Just one suggestión:
like my theme i build it from images, all the block with info
takes a misconfiguration when i upload, maybe you want to
consider if is posible display the information on simple
tables before to do it in blocks....maybe is more compliant
with the themes structure.

include this article in the last that i publish). Just until
today i can work in test this script.... thanks again)
Note: Personelly I don't like the 1.363 I developed
under Window 2000 and spend another half of my time fix for
Linux.
This version don't like zero record.
It
seem to work fine if you start from demo and delete the
content for your need.
However you said you are not
programmer.
Please upgrade and try the 1.4 then It would
be easier for me to support and modification.
Sorry for
the late reply I just lost my dad and busy with the funeral.

I´ve installed de 1.36
version on a 0.703 postnuke versión and i encountered all
right but when i try to view and search the information like
an anonymous, it does the tables but don´t show the info.
what´s happening, a´m not a programmer and really appreciate
very much your help.

anyone knows how to remove the admin message from showing up
on all the yellowpage pages?
No other modules do this.

Is there a way to
display categories and subcategories when the module is first
loaded rather than requiring the user to automatically search?
I think it would be nice and useful if the Categories
and sub categories could be displayed like a directory would
be displayed.
The option to decide if just categories
and not subcategories should be displayed or we can choose a
limited number of sub categories to display under the main
categories would be a plus. :)
Any help where we turn
these features on would be appreciated.

First of all I will
congratulate you for the step you have made in developening
this module on.
Its really great work and I cant wait till
the next release. Perhaps with some more features ??
Suggestion: The Admin should be able to choose how many
items will be included for free and for paid ads.
Perhaps
I had found a bug: As admin I could´t log in at "edit
buisiness" not with my ID. What went wrong ?
Do you had an
idea when the next release comes out ?

Note: Good thing of Free
software is free
Bad thing is the hard in set the
expectation from everyone. Since I also waiting for someone
else help for Linux version of debugger set up.
I
experienced the hardtime in Windows and move all my tools to
Linux which require sometime.
For the answer the RC2 will
be release shortly but the then 1.4 if no report bug.
The
1.5 is the rewrite and Thank for your report.

Hi all,
Just
installed 1.4 RC1 and have some questions and problems. I
would really appreciate some help on these.
I searched
thoroughly on this site but couldn't find the answers...
Note: Infopage will save according to the setup in
your PostNuke setting if it allow your user use any script,
image, html whatever setting allow.
2. Banner in
certain category yes by modify the yp5fuctions.php. However if
you can wait it can easily modify the next version but yes you
can do now.
3. Seem to be a bug. will fix in RC2 if
you can do programming you can easily fix in yp5function
