Welcome to the main page of the Child Abuse Awareness Webring. I adopted this ring 17 february 2005. This ring is to help Fighting Child Abuse around the world. Your site does not have to be about abuse at all, as long as it is a family friendly one. This webring is for people who are against children abuse. WE NEED NEW MEMBERS! She may have hit and hurt me, But she loves me more than you. I may have missed a meal or two And have scars on my back and my face, But she had to do it when I was bad, That’s why I’m here in this place. I shouldn’t have wet my bed again. I shouldn’t have spoken back. You see, your honor, it’s all my fault. My mommy’s love never has lacked. Yes, my foster parents give me hugs, I’m full after every meal. And when I wet my bed again, To them it’s no big deal. Sure, my homework is getting done And now I have lots of friends, It’s true I get clean clothes each day, And on them I can always depend. But they’ve never shown me real love, Not like my mom always did. When they don’t scream and holler, don’t hit at all, They’re keeping their love for me hid. So, your honor, I beg you, let me go To where love is shown so true. Please get my mommy out of jail. Your honor, it’s all up to you. Maybe I’ll loose a little weight, I may get another scar. My grades may suffer and I may keep to myself, And we may live in my mommy’s car. But there with Mommy I know I am loved. I wish you could understand. ‘Cause that’s where it’s shown what real love is, There in my sweet mommy’s hand.
