I just thought as I was making a page about a roleplaying mud, I should try and have a roleplaying section on here too.

The RP (roleplaying) on AL can be sometimes...a little hit and miss. Not with the game nor the theme...I mean, OK, there are some things not in the game, that if were in would make certain things easier to RP, but then again, there always will be. The main thing is the game has more than enough facilities to RP with, and (as far as I know) the creators are working hard on more theme files to make that easier.
That said, the RP comes down to the players. There are many exceptions to that rule, but on the whole, there RP is pretty poor.
The average IC rating for the players was at about 0.6 after it came out. It still strugles to stay above 0.3. The IC rating goes from -4 to 6. That's a possible scale of 10. Yet still the average is at just above neutral (0). Of course this could be because people do not vote others. Or maybe some players are never near others so they do not get rated. Yet I see the rating going up or down every day, even if it's by a little. That means some people are voting and being voted for good or bad RP.
Maybe I am being a bit rude about this, but it really does annoy me. I enjoy Rping, a few of my character's have had none or next to no skills, because I just spent all my time RPing and not and not concentrating on skills. I did have some skills...to make money of course....
So anyway, this section of this (crappy) site, will be dedicated to RP. Please read them, because roleplaying can be so so enjoyable. Alright some of the character's you RP may be diserable and get killed or labeled as a thief, a killer, a mage....but it is only a game. You can spend all your time concentrating on skills, then going on a killing spree and striking fear into the hearts of others...if that's what get you going, go ahead :), a good killer can be real fun, even for the victim, but just RP it.
