WHO I AM IN CHRIST |
Ephesians 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers & aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints , & are of God's household.... Fellow Citizen Strongs: sumpolites soom pol ee' tace Native of some town Websters: citizen: an inhabitant of a town or city citizenship: state of being vested/entitled with rights & privileges of a citizen/freeman In God's kingdom I belong...I am not a foreigner any more. When I accepted Jesus as my Savior, God immediately adopted me & then I became a citizen of His kingdom. I belong there, not in the former "land" where I lived. I am given rights in His kingdom. He has given me privileges...if nothing more, He's given me life eternal. But More privileges are to love Him, work for the uplifting of Him...as in deliverance for other believers/fellow citizens, to live as to be a witness...allowing others to see that He is a most gracious and merciful God, that He truly does love and car. Yes, I consider that a privilege. But a most wonderful privilege is to live in God's household...He as my Daddy, Jesus as my brother...WONDERFUL! Okay...so if I have that privilege, again, I must confess/admit, God loves me. For one does not do all this for you and hate you. He cannot give me protection (noone can snatch me out of His hands; given me authority over all principalities, powers, and dominions of evil; being covered by the blood of Jesus; etc) and me be able to sit here and say..."How can He love me?" Yes...it becomes more of a reality. But I must keep telling myself this. Becky Blessed beyond measure ! |
