TimeOut Fitness at Cisco Systems in
RTP, NC has an 8 week bootcamp program twice a year. I participated in their last
bootcamp session (August - October 2001) and survived!! Sgt. Horay wasn't
too tough, I can only dream that real bootcamp would be this fun!!
We would meet twice a week at 0630 and start off with a light warmup, followed by
the days featured activity and then a cooldown. The featured activity varied from
week to week, we either did a series of sprints, jogs, and skips, sometimes jumprope, but
the best day was crab soccer (and you could certainly feel the impact it had on you
the next day). Below are a few photos of the group. I gotta say this was one
of the funnest experiences that I've had and I hope the real thing can
somehow be this fun! :-)
