The Med2000 LAG (Third World Group) and Koperattiva Kummerc Gust are organising Worldfest on the occasion of the first ever World Fair Trade Day. The day is being held to celebrate Fair Trade and to tell the world about it, to honour the achievements of grassroots farmers and craftspeople who create quality products for the market, and to tell consumers how their spending power can make a difference and contribute to sustainable development. Worldfest is supported by Inizjamed, St. Michael Foundation and Ritmi. |

of ISV de Paoli (Reggio Calabria), will share the experience of an
innovative successful student cooperative Nosotros.
The school canteen, run by the students, has chosen to sell
fair-traded foodstuffs instead of products marketed by multinational
companies. Open to the general public, but
specially directed towards teachers involved in SCOOPS and school leaders. |
