(Ma'af belum ada versi Indonesianya)
According to the Chechen command, the Russians continue to concentrate their forces in the Nozhay-Yurt and in the Vedeno District. The total number of the Russians massing for attack amounts to 13,000-15,000 men. Chechen reconnaissance reports another Russian armoured column on the move, consisting of more than 50 heavy mortars of calibre 120 and of about 100 armoured vehicles, cannons, and rocket launchers.

In the staff of the central front it was made known that the Chechen subunits did not yet engage in direct encounters with the enemy. Meanwhile the Russians continue to carry out intensive artillery attacks on Chechen mountain villages. The Russian aviation bombed Zhanni-Vedeno, Tazen-Kala, and Belgatoy. Near Benoy-Khutor a small skirmish between a Chechen scouting unit and an advance detachment of the Russians took place.

The troops landed by the Russians yesterday in an airborne operation did not yet undertake any combat activities. They are entrenching and building up firing positions at the place of their landing.

Special mobile units of the mujahideen are shadowing the enemy's movements. According to Kavkaz Center's correspondent, the Chechen command has prepared a package of orders on actions related to the new offensive of the opponent.

Special Operations Against the Russians ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Special units of the mujahideen are continuing to carry out operations against the Russians in the occupied territories of the ChRI. Near Bachi-Yurt one BTR and one truck of the Russians were destroyed - they were blown up with radio-controlled mines. Afterwards the enemies were strafed with automatic guns.

Near the village of Dzhalka an 'Ural' with materiel was destroyed making use of a portable grenade launcher 'Mukha' (Fly). Two Russians were killed.

Near Dzhugurty a group of mujahideen attacked a Russian armoured column that was sheltering several trucks with materiel and provisions. After an hour of fighting the mujahideen retreated. One BMP was knocked out, 2 trucks were burnt up. Six Russians were killed, while the mujahideen suffered no casualties.

In the Chechen capital during the last 24 hours two serious operations against the occupiers were carried out - one in the Savodsky District, the other in the 56th Ward. At about 3 a.m. a group of Chechen fighters suddenly attacked a Russian unit in the Kirov settlement and in the former sanatorium complex in the south of Dzhokhar. Fierce shooting lasted until dawn. There are no reports about the casualties of either side.

Intensification of the Situation in the Argun Valley ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The Chechen side reports an intensification of the Russians' activities in the Argun Valley. During the last three days, 2,000-3,000 so-called spetsnaz men were deployed to this region with transport helicopters. No combat activities were to be observed yet.

The Chechen side reports local skirmishes near Khorsenoy and Khal-Keloy. Two kilometres north of the village of Aslanbek Sheripov a fierce shoot-out between a Russian unit consisting of up to 150 men and a Chechen scouting units happened. The Russians are said to have been marching back to their base after a so-called "cleansing" in Aslanbek Sheripov. Chechen fighters said that the Russians left behind on the combat terrain a car with food supplies, carpets, and several old TV sets, which they had put in save keeping during the "cleansing".
