Meth Church Gig Review: First gig, Moose Farmers without their bassist *cough* Tim, were on second, after Red Line, with tom wilburn standing in for tim, first they played the white stripes' 'seven nation army', the crowds' reaction was pretty good and most of the crowd were standing. However, one member of the crowd *cough* matt, was not too pleased when his verse was not included (they were holding the lyrics up for tom) then, they played 'about a girl' by nirvana, which had the crowd singing along, or Beth at least. Then they performed a rendition of their own song, which so far has no lyrics, but the riffs were brilliant and when the song is completed, it will be worth hearing. Then, after much encouragement from some members of the crowd, they played Electric Sixes', smash 'Gay Bar'. Which, quite obviously went down well and had the crowd joining in. The last song, there own song 'E',went down well, and finished off their set perfectly, as a whole their short but super set was worth £1.50 to see, and they did very well for their first show. |
