We think that when Evan gets older and understands the story, he will agree that this page couldn't be more appropriate. Colin is definitely Evan's guardian angel and his memory is alive each and every day. They were twin brothers and Colin sacrificed so much to give Evan a chance at life. There is no greater sacrifice than that. We will always remind Evan how lucky he is to have had such a wonderful, caring brother and one sweet day they will be reunited. Although most people didn't get to meet him, we hope that everyone knows how much of a difference his short life made in this world.

I had a very rough start, but I am home today and doing quite well. I have come so far and my mommy and daddy are so very proud of me. I was a fighter from day one and continue to show off my determination, which sometimes isn't such a good thing. Everyone always says that I have a great personality and have grown to be a beautiful little boy. And boy does everyone love my cheeks!!

To my brother Colin:

I miss you and I love you. We shared our space for 24 weeks and I know how hard the last 2 weeks were for you. I know that you are my special angel and are always by my side helping me get through the tough times. I knew you were in pain and I am so sorry for that. I knew the moment you became an angel, I felt it in my heart. Although I missed you immediately, I was glad that your suffering was over. You will always be my special pal and I can't wait to see you again.

What can we say but thank you! Each one of you was great, from the first day of our stay, through the last. You provided support, helped us understand, even cried and held our hands. You all hold a very special place in our hearts! We will never forget you!
