+Nat's Story 4 Elsa+

Elsa... Perfect Angel

This just strikes me as unbelievable. Elsa... Elsa Schiefer... a terrific friend... lost because of hate. It's not fair how one person can take another person's life like that. But when worse comes to worse, and you have nothing elsa, it's best to look at the good times...
August, 2000. On the 1st or 2nd day of school i see someof my friends talking to this tall girl who looked so nice, the way she related to others. The was weating asmile so large while meeting her new friends. As I'm walking over to see my friends and meet my new schoolmate im thinking "Wow, she looks so nice! She's so tall... she looks smart... She lookz pretty cool... she looks athletic... I WANT TO MET HER!" She had that kind of personality that once you saw her you wanted to know more about her. Obviously she didn't tell us everything... but we became great friends. That fall she taught me and my friends how to do all of these jump rope routines at school that she made look so easy. I never really picked up on them. She was so nice and caring 24/7, and whenever you looked like you had a problem, she always was by your side to help you out.... If only I knew...
During that year we all had some problems with friends, and she was always trying to fix them. She loved it when everybody got along with eachother. She was so perfect inevery way. When we came to Hyde she was still the same, great, amazing person. I wishmore people could have gotten too know her because she had a habbit of lifting your spirits. So high.
d.R.e.A.m.E.r Elsa had DREAMS... and oh so many. Her ultimate goal was to go to Stanford University. She worked so hard in school so Stanford wouldn't turn her down... she would wear her Stanford sweater as mcuh as she could, she was so ambitious. The loved track & field. I don't think there was anything she'd much rather do than run, run, and run. When she injured her knee she felt so terrible she couldn't do trank this year, but planned to in 8th grade. She passed away 1 week before try-outs this year. She was always so encouraging. She was the captain of out track & field teamin P.E. adn she was always cheering our team, Triple Pinx, on.
*April 4, 2002* My mom told me I couldn't go outside untill she said it was alright. She had been hearing helicopters outside and the news said 4 people were found dead in S.C. The furthest thing frommy mind was that it was someone I knew. I went online to tell my friends and they were scared the killer wasonthe loose. Then a few minutes later thenews showed what street it happend on... n i was shocked when I noticed... ELSA LIVES THERE. But still, I din't believe it was here. Eventually they showed 3 houses, I recognized the onein the middle as Elsa's n burst into tears... yet I waspraying it was one of the houses nextdoor. When they finally did a close-up on the from portch I was shocked to see it was the place we laid our scooters last summer, waited aroud with nothing todo, SO MANY MEMORIES BURST INTO MY MIND. They showed the tire swing we used to hang out on. And when they announced it was her mother, I couldn't believe it. She was one of thesweetest people I ever met. I wish I could have done something...
ELSA~ we love you so much. We miss you down here like crazy. the day everyone foundout Steven said to me "God doesn't even feel sad, he's not crying (it wasn't raining)." In reply I said, "He's happy he has Elsa now..." and steven told me "God's greedy." Maybe he is.. or maybe there was a reason. Your departure made us all realize we don't live forever, and we need to be grateful for what we have now... so n a way... Thank you Elsa Schiefer... you touched us all

P.S. You have the most BEAUTIFUL NAME... ~Elsa~
