UNDERDOSE REVIEWS

MNE! Mag: Past Edition

Reviewed By: MNE

The strangely monickered InMe are a teenage trio from Essex, and this is their spirited debut. Kicking off with surges of minor chord metal. 'UnderDose' builds to an impressive chunky chorus, with some superb growling from Dave McPherson. Candidly littered with sexual inadequacy and suicide. 'UnderDose' is quite the little sordid confessional. The two B-sides are turgid affairs, but there's enough here to earmark forthcoming debut album 'Overgrown Eden' as one to look out for.

My Reply: This is a fair review, but v.harsh in places!

Rock Sound! Mag: August Issue

Reviewed By: Rock Sound

The debut single from Essex rockers InMe is a bloody infectious bugger. Already causing a buzz in net land, InMe have been touted as the next big thing by many and 'UnderDose' is going to do wonders for their reputation. B-side "Gelosea" stretches Dave McPherson's vocal chords in all directions and is enough to make Muse's Matt Bellamy wince. Lets hope that this is not the only good dose to be received from an Essex boy.

My Reply: This is comic in places, not sure about the 'Essex Boy' thing!
