'Reading/Fez
Club' -Wednesday
4th September.
I had to get up soooo early for this gig and I had to spend all of the
money I had on food and travel, and to be honest it was worth every
penny!
When we got into Reading we spent 20 minutes trying to find the Fez Club,
so when we found it we thought we would go to HMV and doss about! We
found a play list CD that had ‘Crushed Like Fruit’ sampled and we
went to listen to it, when we turned around we saw Joe! We spoke to him
and he was really cool with us, and said he would give us food from his
rider if he didn’t need it!
Anywho!
Lizz and me then heard InMe sound checking Gelosea and Crushed Like Fruit!
While we were
waiting to go in, the guys that worked there were shouting and being
VERY rude and punching walls!
When we got in,
we were all really excited because it was the first InMe tour date we
were able to see! The support bands played, and I was impressed…but I
was busy waiting, impatiently for InMe to come on! They came on…. and
blew me away, it was great to see InMe on their own headlining Tour.
They played a great set; Mosaic, Crushed Like Fruit, Energy, Gelosea!
Etc…
Just before they played ‘UnderDose’ Dave smiled at Siobhan, and said
‘‘This one goes out to Siobhan…Happy Birthday’’ She was
chuffed! J
We got to speak
to them afterwards as well and Siobhan gave Simon the drawing she did of
him and he loved it! I then went to get my ticket signed by Dave and he
signed it ‘’To Gilette, Love Dave InMe" which was Very sweet!
I had a great time and went on to see them the next day and at London
UnderWorld!
