Review 7 'Bristol/Louisiana' -Friday 6th September.
At the sold out venue, support act X is Loaded took the stage. X is
Loaded played a some what tedious set. In the time allocated to them
they managed to pull of some good tunes, especially their new hit
“Massive Misguidance”.
When InMe hit the stage the attendance managed to reach the highest
vocal point of the evening. On the opening song, “Crushed like
Fruit”, InMe came out very vibrant and energetic, this pulsating
energy managed to stay with them through out the night.
Vocalist/guitarist Dave McPherson and bassist Joe Morgan managed to use
the small stage to their advantage, with them both jumping around with
such enthusiasm. This passion also reflected in the crowd’s
liveliness, with “UnderDose” and “FireFly” getting the best
reactions of the night.
As well as being very energetic the band were also technically
proficient, with McPherson’s vocals almost impeccable through out the
night and Taylor’s drumming in perfect time not much could go wrong
for the lads.
With the night coming to a close InMe played their last song in a
perfect fashion, “Lava Twilight”, this was done them by the band
keeping up their zest and crowd making this an exception to go wild.
After the song had finished InMe made a quick exit through the crowd,
the show was over. Written by Mark Sullivan.
