EPISODE #15

Previously on Intertwined…
Nicholas is rescued from Thomas' hideout.
Laurie and Austin share a hotel room together.
Charles Robinson, Sarah and Noah's father, comes to town.
Thomas visits Victoria at the hospital.
Kyle and Mia talk in the park.
Ethan blames the Robinson's arrogance and bitterness on Charles.
Austin and Laurie kiss.

Austin lay on top of Laurie kissing her as he started taking off his shirt.
She watched as he took off his shirt and began unbuttoning her shirt. Once he reached the third button she grabbed his hands. "Austin…"
He looked up at her in confusion. "Yes?"
"I-I can't…"
"What?"
She slid away from him and walked into the bathroom. She shrugged and splashed cold water on her face. Austin appeared in the doorway.
"Is something wrong Laurie?"
"Yes… No. I don't know Austin. I'm so confused." She struggled for words. "I'm a virgin…"

Ethan shut off the attic light and walked down the stairs. Simone and him met at the top of the stairs. "Hey. Where did you go?"
"I went up to the attic… I needed to get away for a little while. I can only tolerate so much bickering."
"Yeah, tell me about it. Charles went to bed though, so it's over for the night. Noah's downstairs in the living room… I think he wants to talk to you."
"Oh joy… I wonder what I did this time."
"I don't know what it's about. I'll see you in the morning. I'm going to bed. Good luck."
"Good night Simone." He slowly walked down the stairs wondering what awaited him.
He turned into the living room and saw his cousin sitting on the sofa. "Simone said you wanted to speak with me…" He sat in a chair across from the couch and propped his feet up on the coffee table. "So spill it Noah what have I done this time?"

Amir and Sarah walked hand and hand down the sidewalk. The cool breeze whipped Sarah's hair in the wind.
"So, you want to go back to the hotel for some dessert?"
"God Amir… That line is so over done."
He laughed, "yeah, I guess it--" He was cut off by Sarah's cell phone ringing.
She took her phone out of her purse and looked at the number. "I hate to do this Amir, but I really have to take this phone call. Can we meet back at the hotel?"
"Sure… no problem."
She watched him walk far enough away before she answered the ringing. "Hello?"
"Hello." An automated voice answered. "Will you accept a collect call from Trevor Gale. Press one to accept or two to--" She pressed one.
"Hello? Sarah?"
"Yes…"
"Hey baby. Listen, are you still coming tomorrow?" His voice sounded distraught.
"Of course I am… is something wrong?"
"I just need to see you… I… You've got to get me out of here, soon."
"Trevor tell me what's wrong."
"I'd rather not talk about it on the phone. Just please come and see me tomorrow. As soon as you get the chance."
"You know I will."
"I'm going to go… I love you Sarah."
"I love you too." She hung up and put it in her purse. With a heavy sigh she walked towards the hotel.

"Ethan, I think I owe you an apology."
"Oh?" He couldn't contain the disbelief in his voice.
"Since the first night you came to stay with us I've treated you unfairly and I have been very cold towards you. I let the image of you two years ago cloud my vision and I was unable to see how much you have matured over the past two years. I'm sorry for treating you unfairly and I want to let you know that you are always welcome in this home."
He looked at his cousin not knowing whether to believe the words coming out of his mouth.
"I am truly sorry and I hope you will be able to forgive me." He rose from the sofa and walked out of the living room.
"Was that Noah Robinson is was just talking too…?"

She slid the key into the door and walked into her hotel room. Candles were lit all around the room and Amir lay in their bed. "Wow…" She muttered as she crawled in the bed.
"You like?"
"Mmhmm…" She kissed his lips tenderly. What a guy…

The sun peeked through the blinds awaking Kyle from his slumber. He groaned and sat up to stretch before he noticed the young woman sleeping beside him. He looked at her with a puzzled expression. It was too early for his thoughts to be coherent. She stirred and slowly opened her eyes. "Uh… Mia?"
"What time is it?" She asked groggily.
"Eight…"
"Ugh… Let's go back to sleep."
His thoughts raced to remember the night before. He had talked to Mia in the park… They came back here and… Oh no…
"What's wrong?"
"Uh… Nothing… Nothing… Look Mia I think that you should--"
She jolted up from her laying position and wrapped her arms around him and buried her face on his bare chest. "Please Kyle… don't be like all the rest and throw me out… Please…"
He put one of his hands on her back. Not knowing what to do.
"Please don't be like all the rest…" She said again through her tears.

Amir stretched his arm across the bed. His eyes opened quickly, he was confused as to why Sarah was not lying beside him. "Sarah…?" The room was empty. "Where did she go?"
Sarah walked quickly out of the hotel lobby and out on the street. She waved her arm at an oncoming taxi car. She got into the taxi. "County jail please." She instructed the driver.

Ethan, Monica and Lucas walked out of the café holding large cups of coffee in their hands.
"Explain to me again why we're up so early on our day off from school…" Ethan asked as he sipped his coffee.
"Our crazy relatives woke us up at six…" Lucas explained. "We needed to get away."
"And you just had to call me at eight a.m. to come out to get coffee with you two?"
"Of course… it wouldn't have been any fun without you Ethan." Monica poked him in his side.
He jerked back. "Whoa now hot contents in hand."
The trio sat at a table outside of the café. "So, Phantom of the Opera is the spring musical." Lucas said as he sat down. "Please try and contain yourself dear sister."
"I just hope we'll be able to pull it off…"
"We have the talent and the money this year." Monica said to Ethan.
"I wouldn't know I'm new." Ethan looked at a couple sitting at a table two over from them. The guy looked some how very familiar.
"Whatcha looking at?" Monica asked.
"Hm? Oh… nothing." He listened as Monica and Lucas excitedly talked about the spring musical. But his thoughts drifted back to the couple. "That bothers me…" He muttered.
"What bothers you?" Lucas gave Ethan a curious look.
"You see that guy over there." Monica and Lucas turned their heads to look. "He looks awfully familiar but I can't place him…"
"Maybe he'll recognize you… go tell him he looks familiar."
"Monica I can't just walk over there…"
"Sure you can."
"It's really not that big of a deal." Lucas added.
"Fine… Fine… I'll go."

Her heart pounded as the cab neared the jail. She hadn't seen him in two years… not since the trial. Perhaps she should have visited him. But she would have never had known what to say.
"Here's your stop ma'am. That'll be twenty dollars."
She handed him the money and grabbed her purse as she got out of the cab. She looked up at the dark building. "Well, here goes nothing…"

Charlotte, dressed in a long black skirt and black blouse walked down the stairs. Noah was waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs. "Whoa grandma, where's the funeral?"
"Can't an old lady wear black with out getting harassed? Where's Simone, she's coming with us isn't she?"
"Of course she is. She's in the kitchen filling our traveling mugs with coffee. I couldn't talk dad in to coming."
"What was his excuse this time?"
"He doesn't want anyone to know he's in town." He rolled his eyes after telling his father's excuse.
"I can't believe we waited this year. It's past Thanksgiving and we don't have a Christmas tree up. Your grandfather is probably turning over in his grave."
Simone walked into the foyer and handed Charlotte and Noah their coffee. "Let's get this show on the road." She said with a smile.

Ethan slowly walked over to the couple. He turned to look at his friends who were motioning for him to go on. He reached the table and looked at the couple. "Hi." He said matter-of-factly.
Laurie smiled, "hi."
"You must excuse me, I never do anything like this." He turned his attention to the man he thought he knew. "But you look really familiar and I just can't figure out where I know you from."
Austin put out his hand. "I'm Austin Philips."
Ethan shook his hand. "Well I certainly don't recognize the name… I'm Ethan Robinson."
"Can't say I recognize your name either."
"Maybe I've just completely lost it. Have you lived here long?"
"Only a few months, I go to the university here."
Ethan peered at Austin's eyes. Yes his eyes were the thing. "I'm sorry for disturbing you two and making an ass out of myself."
Laurie smiled again. "No problem." She watched as the boy walked back over to his table. "You think…?"
"I doubt it…" He replied.

Sarah picked up the phone and looked at Trevor through the glass. "Hi." She said softly.
"It's so good to see you Sarah."
"I've missed you Trevor. You should have never moved to this crummy city. You knew you were always welcome at my home."
"Heaven Beach is so stifling… But maybe I should go back." He looked around his surroundings. "Any place is better than this."
"You didn't do it, I know you didn't Trevor. Damn Elizabeth, damn her to hell." She clenched her fist. "But I've got something on her Trevor. I'm getting you out of here." She took the small tape out of her pocket and pressed it up against the glass. "This little thing is what is going to get you out of here."
"Baby, you've got to get me out of here by Christmas. Promise me."
"I promise you Trevor, I promise you."

It was as if Mia's crying scene had never happened. She was happy and perky once more, or so it seemed to Kyle.
"I'll see you later Kyle. I've got to go to work. It's the last day Heaven's Hideaway is open."
"Are you sure your okay…?"
"I'm fine, why shouldn't I be?"
"I was just making sure… that's all… Goodbye Mia."
"Bye." She said cheerfully as she walked out the door.
He picked up the phone and dialed a number. "Hey. You're still coming over aren't you?"

Phyllis stood on the small stepladder placing the star on top of the tree. "There. Perfect."
"Good lord Phyllis, please be careful. All we need is you falling down and breaking your neck." Anna said as she handed Phyllis a glass filled with eggnog and bourbon.
"Thank you mother." She backed away from the tree. "It's radiant, don't you think mother?"
"It's gorgeous Phyllis. You did a great job."
"It's perfect, just for Nicholas. He'll love it. He loves Christmas. He's coming home today. I wanted everything perfect for him. Do you think it is?"
"Yes Phyllis. Everything is fine."
She anxiously looked at her watch. "Victoria left to go get him thirty minutes ago. What's taking her so long?"
"Patience is a virtue."
The bell sounded throughout the house. "Nicholas!" Phyllis exclaimed as she ran towards the front door.
"Honey they wouldn't ring the doorbell." Anna called out to her daughter.
She threw the door open. "Ni- Bradley, darling. What are you doing here?"
Brad Miller walked into the Slater mansion with four wrapped gifts cradled in his arms. He kissed Phyllis on the cheek. "Hey honey."
She closed the door and turned around to face him. "Bradley…"
"I thought I'd bring these presents for you and your family over. And I know how uncouth it is, but I'm inviting myself to dinner tonight. Nicholas is coming home today isn't he?"
"Phyllis who is this man…?" Anna asked curiously as she walked into the foyer. The man couldn't have been over thirty she thought to herself.
"Uh--" She mumbled.
Brad grinned. "Hi I'm--"
Victoria and Nicholas walked into the house together.
Phyllis turned around quickly. "Nicholas!" She said happily as she ran over and hugged her youngest child. "Darling, welcome home."
"Hello mother." He hugged her back but backed away slowly as he noticed the strange man in the house. "Mother who…"
"Is that?" Victoria finished her brother's sentence.
"Yes Phyllis, who is this man?"
She took a step back and looked at her son, daughter, and mother. "Well… um… "
He set the gifts on the floor and stood up. With a proud smile he said, "hello everyone I'm Brad Miller. I'm dating Phyllis."
Victoria grabbed on to her brother's wrist in shock and looked at him, his mouth had dropped wide open.

Amir heard the door open and close. He wrapped a towel around his waist and walked out of the bathroom. "Hey, I was just about to take a shower. Would you like to join me?"
She shrugged. "Amir. Can you get dressed? We need to go back home."
"Uh-Sure. Is something wrong?"
"No. I'll pack out stuff."
Her body language and tone said other wise. He walked back into the bathroom and got dressed as quickly as he could.
She zipped up their suitcases and placed them by the door.
He walked out of the bathroom again. "I'm ready." He stated.
"Well then, let's go."
Something had changed. He thought. She seemed cold and harsh. Where could she have gone? Was it something he had done? His mind thought of all the possibilities that could have happened while she was away…

April walked into Heaven's Hideaway to finish up her Christmas shopping. She walked in and smiled at Mia. "Hi Mia."
"Hey April. How's it going?"
She sighed, "Things could be better… And it doesn't help that I'm alone for the holidays."
"Oh… Kyle?"
She nodded sadly.
"Listen April… I've got to tell you something about him…"

Victoria was the first to break the awkward silence. "Miller hm?"
"Yes, Miller." Brad responded.
"Of Miller Enterprises?" She continued her questioning.
"Yes, I see you've heard of my father's company."
"Yes… His multi-million dollar business." She looked at Nicholas, "do you get it?"
"Oh yeah, clear as day."
"Mother may we have a word with you - in the dining room?"
"Of… course Victoria. Mother please take Brad into the living room and fix him a drink." She said as she followed her children. She walked into the dining room. Her children did not look happy. "What is it? Darling, you know it's rude to leave company, especially when they've just arrived."
"Mother what in the hell are you thinking?" She asked in a harsh whisper.
"What? Darling I don't under--"
"Mother he looks thirty!"
"Actually… twenty-nine."
"Oh God mother… I just can't believe you…"
"Mom, you've even shocked me this time…" Nicholas added.
"I don't see the problem…"
"He's twenty-nine! You're fifty!"
"Stop shouting Victoria and I'm not fifty… yet…"
"Well, it's just around the corner."
"Victoria, what an awful thing to say."
"Victoria, calm down. Mom, listen for a minute. Can you honestly say you see now problem in you dating a twenty-nine year old?"
"You're as old as you feel…"
"Mom, answer the question."
"Well… no… of course not…"

"What is it Mia?"
"You promise not to get mad…?"
"What is it Mia?" She repeated.
"I bumped into Kyle last night in the park… I had nowhere to go. I stayed at his house last night and… Oh, please promise me you won't be angry with me…"
"Mia, what happened when you were at his house?"
"…He talked me into having sex with him…"
"What?" She asked angrily. "I can't believe that man." She stormed out of the store and ran into someone. She fell to the ground. "Hey, why don't you watch where you're going-- Oh… I'm sorry Laurie."
Laurie helped April up. "My God April you're shaking, what's wrong?"
"I just talked to Mia… Kyle talked her into having sex with him last night."
"April wait here."
"What?"
"Don't move." She opened the door and looked around for Mia. She was sitting by the cash register. She walked over to her and slapped her across the face. "How low do you get?"
