Her mother placed her hands on her shoulders. Simone responded by touching her left hand. She smiled. "This is it mother… and I couldn't be more happier."
"I know you couldn't baby, I know you couldn't."
April walked into the room wearing a red silk dress, Simone had chosen for all the bridesmaids to be in red for Valentine's Day. "Only thirty more minutes…" She announced as she closed the door.
Simone picked up her bouquet of red and white roses and smelled it. "Thirty minutes… Seems like a lifetime."
"April I want to thank you, again, for helping my daughter out so much with her wedding. I just wish I could have been here to help plan. But it looks like you two did an amazing job by yourself."
"It's been quite an experience." April responded. "I never realized all the stuff that goes in to making a wedding."
Sarah and Charlotte, Simone's bridesmaid walked into the room.
Simone turned toward her new sister and grandmother. "You two look absolutely gorgeous."
"Nothing's too good for my baby brother's wedding. I just hope nothing weird happens at the wedding, that'd be the tip of the iceberg, first this Austin kid hanging around the house, Le Club Populaire being shot up with Noah and Charles inside and good ol' uncle Jacob coming to town."
"Well at least Jacob filled in the empty groomsmen space." Simone said as she checked on her make up.
"Which was meant for Kyle…" April said with a sigh. "I talked to him. He really wanted to be here but he couldn't with his new job and everything."
"Too bad… We would loved to have had him here."
"Yeah, so would I…"
"Enough of this moping around." Sarah said as she walked over to a table and grabbed five glasses and a champagne bottle chilled in ice. She filled the glasses and handed them to the ladies, saving one for herself. "I would like to propose a toast." She lifted her glass in her hand. "To my new sister, may you and Noah have many more years of happiness and bliss to come." They touched their glasses together and drank the champagne heartily.

Heaven Beach General Hospital
Victoria touched his hand. She had not left the hospital since he had been admitted. She rested her head on his chest and looked up at the tube sticking out from his throat, allowing him to breath. The events replayed in her mind…
The gunmen ran out of the Le Club Populaire and jumped into a black van, which sped off quickly down the road.
Victoria reached out to her mother. "Mom, are you okay?"
"Yes darling."
"Thank God. Where's everyone else? W-What happened?"
"I'm not sure… There were men with guns… and… oh my head-- I don't know."
"Victoria?"
"Nicholas? Are you okay?"
"Yeah, so is Brad and Grandmother."
"What about Trevor and Kip?"
"I don't know…"

Kip climbed off of the young woman and blushed slightly. "Sorry about that, you were just sitting there pretty stunned and well I just went with instinct." He helped her up.
"Oh God, you have no reason to be sorry. Thank you, so much." She threw her arms around him, "you saved my life." She let go, "I'm Laurie, Laurie Ruerup."
He smiled, "Kip Davis."
"Oh wait…" She looked behind her, " Philip?"
"I'm here. I'm fine." He said as he stood up. "You two all right?"
"Yeah, we're fine…"
Kip suddenly thought of the Slater's and turned around. He covered his mouth with his hand at the gruesome sight in front of him.

Victoria climbed onto the booth seat. "Oh God… Trevor? Trevor!" She began screaming hysterically. "Trevor! Oh my God… Someone help me! Help me!"
Phyllis touched her daughter's shoulders. "V-Victoria…"
"Mom…" Tears began streaming out of her eyes. "Someone help me… please…"
Noah and Mia rushed over to the Slater's table. "Victoria, what's wrong?" He asked.
"Noah please. Help me. You're a doctor do something. Do something…"
Noah looked at Trevor's wound, he had been shot in the throat. "Okay, Phyllis had me a knife and straw. Mia call 911. You." He pointed at Kip, "help me move him on the floor."
Brad ran over and helped Noah and Kip move Trevor to the floor.
Phyllis handed the knife and straw to Noah. "What are you going to do?"
"I'm going to do a tracheotomy "
"Mom, what am I going to do?" Victoria asked helplessly. "What am I going to do…"
Phyllis cradled her daughter. "Shh… there, there. Noah's going to save him and the ambulance will be here any minute. He'll be fine." She looked at Nicholas. "Take mother home."
He nodded. "Come on Grandmother, let's go."
Anna grabbed her purse. "I just wish there was something I could do…" Her eyes began to swell up with tears at the sight of her devastated granddaughter clinging on to her mother as if she were a child and Noah, Kip and Brad working feverously to save Trevor's life.
"The ambulance is on its way." Mia informed Noah as he stuck the straw in the hole of Trevor's throat.
"Good." He looked at Trevor, "he's breathing."

Trevor opened his eyes and looked at Victoria. He rested his hand on her back.
"Trevor, I'm going to take care of you, I promise. You can move in with us. That way I can be by your side… everyone minute of everyday..."

Ethan patted Noah on the back bringing him out of his daze. "You nervous?"
"No… Of course not. I have no reason to be."
"You seem a little… spaced out."
"Well why the hell shouldn't I be? I had a near death experience just a few days before my wedding! I saved a man's life by cutting a hole in his throat for God's sake." Noah snapped.
"Oh… Sorry." Ethan turned to walk out of the room.
"Wait, Ethan. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at you."
"It's fine, I'm fine."

Kate Weiss walked into the Church's front doors wearing a light blue dress that was backless and draped to the floor.
"Well, well, well Inspector. I must say I am blown away."
"Oh, Charles." She blushed. "I suppose I do clean up nicely."
"Indeed you do. You look gorgeous." He put out his arm so he could escort her into the church.
"You must be thrilled for Noah."
"Oh yes…"

Austin and Laurie walked into the church she followed him as he took a seat in the back pew. "Thanks for coming with me. I hope I haven't ruined your Valentine's Day."
"Of course not. What are friends for?"
Friends… of course. "I feel so out of place. I can't believe I let Ethan talk me into this. I swear he must be the most manipulative person in this world. The things he talks me into…" He shook his head.
"He's only trying to help you and make you a part of the family."
"I'm not a member of the family yet. Jacob just came into town last night."
"Why are you being so reluctant to all of this? Austin sometimes you need a good kick in the head. This is what you came to town for. This is what you've been looking for, your family."
He sighed. "It just had to be the most powerful family in town…"
"I don't think so." Ethan approached Austin and Laurie. He smiled at Laurie, "hi."
"Hi Ethan."
"Austin what are you doing sitting in the back? You're family, you should be sitting up at the front. Besides we need someone to represent us in the crowd."
"It isn't happening Ethan."
"It isn't an option. Come on you and your beautiful date are moving to the front pew."
Laurie stood up. "Austin I don't think you're going to win on this one. Come on."
Austin threw his head back and shrugged. "Just great…"
"I'll see you two later. I need to get back to my best man duties… Whatever they are." Ethan waved and walked away.
He noticed many people staring at him as he walked up to the front pew. He wanted to be anywhere but here. He didn't belong here.
Laurie wrapped her arm around his. She sensed his uneasiness. "Everything's going to be fine."

Ethan was heading back to the groom's private room but was stopped by a hand on his arm. He turned around.
"Just what in the hell do you think you're doing? Are you deliberately trying to embarrass this family by putting that… that bastard up front?"
He jerked away from his Uncle's grasp. "Don't mess with me dear Uncle or him for that matter."
"Or what?"
"Uncle, you should know better than anyone, don't try to take me on. You'll lose and you know it."

Noah's thoughts drifted to the night of the shooting…
"It's next week isn't it?" He nodded yes. "So this is kind of like your last week as a single man…"
He looked at her strangely for a moment. "I guess it is."
"You want to make the most out of it?"
A couple of years ago he would have jumped at the chance to have a romp in the sack with a woman as beautiful as Mia Brooks… But something had changed…
Noah watched as the ambulance drove off into the distance. His hands and shirt covered with blood. He shuddered at the sight and began to walk back inside to wash off before returning home.
Mia met him at the door. "Did you think about what I said?"
He was astonished at the girl. "Mia… I… just… just get away from me okay?"

Mia certainly was a determined woman. He had to yell at her to get her to go away. His thoughts drifted away from Mia and to Simone and their honeymoon night in the Caribbean, soon after he was interrupted by his young best man.
Ethan stuck his head in the door. "It's show time."

Heaven Beach General Hospital
Kip Davis knocked on the door before entering the private hospital room. "Victoria." He said gently as he approached her sitting on a chair by Trevor's bedside.
She spoke with no emotion. "She didn't send you, did she? If so, it's a lost cause. I'm not leaving."
"No, no." He sat in a chair on the other side of the bed; facing her. "I came on my own."
"Oh…" She continued to stare at the now sleeping Trevor.
"I know we haven't known each other very long but if you need to talk or anything… You've been here every day for a month..."
"They're releasing him tomorrow."
"Really? That's good…"
"Yeah. At least I won't have to worry about keep Sarah Robinson away from him." She held on to Trevor's hand. "He doesn't want her around him…"

Philip's Apartment
Philip turned on his laptop computer and brought Laurie's bedroom into view. It was empty. Laurie had left early that morning without waking him, leaving behind no note as to where she was. He had to know where she was. It was driving him insane. "Where are you Laurie…" He muttered as he shut the computer down.

Heaven Beach United Methodist Church
The organ filled the church with the sounds of Canon in D Major. Noah eagerly looked out the main doors and to the hallway hoping to get a glance of his bride.
Ethan noticed Noah's impatience and apparent nervousness and patted him on the shoulder. "Nervous yet?"
"Nah…" He smiled. "I just want to do this. Not to get it over but we've waited over a year and now it's finally here and I can't wait."
The organ began the song over again, the groomsmen and bridesmaids cue. Jacob walked through the large wooden doors with Sarah's arm wrapped around his. Neither looked thrilled. But when they noticed the entire crowd was staring at them they put on fake smiles and made the walk to the altar. Before breaking off in their separate directions Jacob kissed Sarah on the cheek. Ethan noticed Sarah twitch somewhat before putting back on her fake smile.
Charles and Charlotte followed behind Jacob and Sarah. Charles winked at Kate as he passed the pew she was sitting in. As Jacob had done, Charles kissed Charlotte's cheek and stepped to the side of his brother.
April solely walked down the aisle. She carried a small bouquet of red and white roses. She would be walking with Kyle at this moment if he hadn't have moved… She dismissed her thoughts and smiled again. This was Simone's day.
Once April had reached her spot the organ began to boom with The Wedding March. Noah sucked in a deep breath when Simone entered with her father at her side. She had never looked more beautiful.
Simone smiled widely at the crowd and to her groom. This was the moment she had always dreamed about and now it was coming true and nothing could go wrong.
Noah smiled back at Simone but suddenly his face read complete shock. He looked at Ethan and Sarah who were just as shocked. Is that… he mouthed to Sarah. She confirmed with a nod.
Simone, still smiling, had no idea who was behind her.
Everyone's attention left the beautiful, young bride and stared in utter disbelief at the two women behind her.
She had made her grand entrance and with her head held high she said, "Oh Noah, don't tell me you started without us." Natasha said, speaking over the Wedding March.
Alexandra Robinson, the eldest of Charles and Natasha's children, gleaming in their triumph stood next to her mother.
Sarah clenched her fist and picking up the bottom of her dress she walked briskly to where her mother and sister stood. She glared at Alexandra.
The church rang not with the sound of the Wedding march but with the sound of a slap.
Sarah gathered herself back up and spoke calmly, "damn I've been waiting for that for ten years."
Natasha stepped in between her two daughters, facing Sarah. "Now Sarah, is that anyway to greet your sister?"

Philip's Apartment; Later that night
Philip opened his bedroom door to find it only lit by candlelight. He looked at his bed and saw Laurie laying in it. The blanket covering her as she sat up on her elbows.
"L-Laurie…?" His voice could not hide the disbelief.
"Like your Valentine's Day gift?"
"Oh yes…" He got on the bed and climbed on top of her, kissing her softly.
"Make love to me Philip. Make love to me all night long…" She whispered gently in his ear.

You have come here in pursuit of your deepest urge,
in pursuit of that wish, which till now has been silent,
silent . . .
I have brought you, that our passions may fuse and merge -
in your mind you've already succumbed to me dropped all defenses
completely succumbed to me - now you are here with me:
no second thoughts, you've decided,
decided . . .

Past the point of no return - no backward glances:
the games we've played till now are at an end . . .
Past all thought of "if" or "when" - no use resisting:
abandon thought, and let the dream descend . . .

What raging fire shall flood the soul? What rich desire
unlocks its door? What sweet seduction lies before us . . .?
Past the point of no return, the final threshold - what warm,
unspoken secrets will we learn? Beyond the point of no return . . .

You have brought me to that moment where words run dry,
to that moment where speech disappears into silence,
silence . . .

I have come here, hardly knowing the reason why . . .
In my mind, I've already imagined our bodies entwining
defenseless and silent - and now I am here with you:
no second thoughts, I've decided, decided . . .

Past the point of no return - no going back now:
our passion-play has now, at last, begun . . .
Past all thought of right or wrong - one final question:
how long should we two wait, before we're one . . .?

When will the blood begin to race the sleeping bud
burst into bloom? When will the flames, at last, consume
us . . .?

Past the point of no return the final threshold -
the bridge is crossed, so stand and watch it burn . . .

We've passed the point of no return . . .
