The Slater Home
Brad and Victoria panted out of breath; she rolled over knocking more things to the floor. "I, um…" She jumped off the desk and frantically put her clothes back on. Still out of breath she managed, "I, need to, um, go…" She rushed out of the room.
He causally gathered his clothes, walked over to the desk chair and stretched out. "Brad, my boy, you have done it again."
Lydia walked into the office and quickly shut the door behind her, "well?" Brad gave her a cocky look, "you didn't… you did!" She said with utter disbelief. "Well, I hope you're not too tired, because now I've come to collect."
"Lock the door." She did so and walked over to him.
"This is perfect Brad." She straddled him and began to kiss his neck.
"Absolutely flawless. Phyllis and her family won't know what hit them."
"Mmhmm," she mumbled as she worked her way down his chest and stomach.
"We'll be rolling in money… That poor fool, she thought she could out fox me…"
Florida State Women's Penitentiary
"My God, Felicia, how in the hell did you end up here…" Natasha shook her head, "I'm gone for a few months, well, years, and I come back to find out you landed yourself a spot at the Women's Penitentiary! Honestly, I was appalled. What the hell did you do?"
"I trusted someone."
"Didn't I tell you years ago the only person you can trust is yourself?" She sat back, "I can't believe this."
Felicia leaned forward, "Listen, Natasha, you have got to get me out of here. Charles will be able to, won't he?"
She sighed heavily, "I don't know Felicia, I'll see what I can do."
"You'll see what you can do? Oh no, that is not good enough. After all the binds I got you out of in the past, you will come through for me on this one."
"Must you bring all those up?" She sat back up, "fine. It'll take some time though and that is the best I can do." She glimpsed at her watch, "I've got to get back home. Goodbye Felicia." She rose from her chair and walked out of the visiting room.
Felicia slumped back in her chair, "thank you God…"
The Robinson Home
Demetrius stood up, placing his napkin on the table, he nodded his head, "excuse me."
"What a polite young man Kate," Charlotte watched Demetrius as he left the room. "You must be very proud of him."
Kate smiled, "I am. God knows this has been a terrible year for him."
Austin entered the dining room, all conversation ceased promptly and all their eyes fixated themselves on the new Robinson. He cleared his throat uncomfortably, "Ethan, may I speak with you for a moment?"
"We are in the middle of--"
Ethan cut off his Uncle, "Certainly." He followed his brother into the living room. "What is it?"
"I feel kind of awkward asking this, but will you come and stay with me? It's been one hell of a couple of days and I don't want to be alone. I have no one else to turn to."
"Of course, let me just grab a change of clothes and we can leave." Ethan darted up the stairs.
He leaned up against the wall, "when will it all stop…"
The Slater Home
Victoria shut her bedroom door and climbed into bed with Trevor, who was fast asleep. She rested her head on his bare chest, "what have I done…" Trevor opened his eyes and looked down at her, "I'm sorry, did I wake you?"
He shook his head no.
"Are you feeling better?" He nodded. "Good," she closed her eyes and sighed. "Are the lessons with the voice therapist going well?"
He sucked in a deep breath and cleared his throat, "…yes."
Victoria jolted up, "oh my God Trevor! Is it back? Can you speak again?"
He coughed, "a… little."
Tears of joy formed in her eyes, "oh Trevor, I'm so happy."
"Victoria," he took in another deep breath and winced a little, "make love to me."
She was taken back for a moment, "o-okay…" she trailed off.
He ran his fingers through her hair, his fingers glided down her back as he lifted up her shirt, Victoria… I love you."
Phyllis put her keys on the key rack, sighed and thumbed through the mail, putting most of it her purse. She walked into the living room, where Kip and Nicholas were droned into a television show. She kissed both of them atop their head, "how are my boys?"
"Shh…" Nicholas said quietly, "They're giving out the keys."
"What? What are you two watching?" She looked at the television.
"We'll be back with the final key and conclusion of this week's episode of Love and Honor…"
"Oh don't tell me you're watching that reality garbage, that's all it is, garbage."
Nicholas looked up at his mother, "this one's different, trust me."
"Different? Come on, key? It sounds like a cheap rip off of The Bachelor." She shook her head.
"Mom, Kip knows one of the girls, she's from Pinõn Hallow."
"You know one of them?" She focused her attention to Kip.
"Yeah, Trista Silversky, she's a doctor at the hospital." He explained.
"A doctor? You would think a doctor would have enough sense not to get herself involved with that crap." She shrugged.
"And now back to Love and Honor…"
"Wait, hold on a minute," Nicholas turned back toward the television.
"Honestly," she rolled her eyes, "I'll be in my office." She walked out of the living room and down the hall; she reached her office and tried to open the door. "I didn't lock my office this morning." She dug through her purse, "damn, my keys."
"Oh my God Brad." Lydia looked bug eyed at the door, "what are we going to do?"
The Outskirts of Heaven Beach
Demetrius made a left turn and counted to the third house on the right. "This drives like a dream," he petted the leather steering wheel of the 2004 Lexus Sedan. He parked the car and walked up to the front door.
Maria opened the door and froze for a moment. "H-Hi…" she stammered. "How did you know where I lived?"
"I did some researching, come on, let's go for a ride." He jumped down the three steps of the porch.
She looked at the Lexus Sedan, it looked awfully familiar, "but I don't even know your name."
"Demetrius, now come on, let's go, it'll be fun." He looked up at her with puppy-dog eyes, "please."
She glanced at him and to the Lexus, "all right."
"Awesome," he jumped in the car and beeped the horn playfully. "This is going to be awesome." He said with excitement.
The Robinson Home
Kate checked her watch, "Demetrius has been gone for a while. Where is he?"
Simone walked over to the large window and pulled back the draperies, "where's Ethan's car?"
"Oh no…" Kate covered her mouth with her hand, "please tell me he didn't…"
"I'm sure he didn't take the car Kate," Charlotte reassured her, "Ethan just left with Austin a few minutes ago."
"That doesn't make any sense for him to take his car, he would have driven with Austin." Noah said, standing up.
"Well, what do we do?" Simone asked turning back towards the table. "Do we call the police?"
"God no," Charles too stood up, "It isn't a a bid deal, just so Demetrius brings the car back in one piece, Ethan never has to find out about it."
"It's the principle of the matter Charles, he should not have taken Ethan's car." Kate said as she grabbed her phone out of her purse, "I'm going to have someone at the department go out and look for him."
"Is that necessary Kate, it really isn't a big deal," Charles asked.
"Charles is right, dear, don't even bother with it," Charlotte moved over to Kate and patted her shoulders, "I'm sure he'll bring it back without even a scratch on it."
"There's just too much that can go wrong, I am going to call someone to bring him back, excuse me," she dialed a number and walked out of the room.
Simone moved towards her husband, "Noah, it's already eight, we need to leave or else will be late for our drink with April and her new man." She smiled, "I can't wait to meet him."
"Yeah," he said reluctantly. He turned towards his father, "Dad, I'll see you next time you come into town, bye." He walked out of the room, Simone following him.
University of Heaven Beach
Austin and Ethan walked down the hallway, headed towards his dorm; Ethan had an overnight bag over his shoulder.
Laurie opened her door and started to lock it when she saw the two. She nodded and smiled, "hey Ethan."
"Hey Laurie." They stopped.
Laurie looked at Austin, "do you have a few minutes?"
"Sure, Ethan, I'll catch up with you, here's my key." He handed his younger brother the key. Laurie waited until Ethan disappeared into Austin's dorm before opening the door, "come in."
He sat on the couch, "what do you want to talk about?"
She sat beside him and nervously played with her ring finger, she turned away, "Austin, I--"
"What?" He leaned towards her.
She bit her bottom lip and sucked in a deep breath, "how's Mia?"
He slumped back, "She's out of the hospital as far as I know, I haven't seen her." He rose, "Ethan's waiting for me, I'll talk to you later."
"Wait." She stood up and stepped closer to him. "Austin," she swallowed hard, working up the courage to do what she was about to do. She put her arms around him and kissed him softly on the lips.
The Slater Home
"Just be quiet," he gathered up their clothes, "follow me," he opened the closest door and they both got in. "Be quiet," he reminded her.
Phyllis fumbled with her keys before managing to open the door. She set her purse and mail on the desk while she sat down. She looked around the room strangely, something wasn't right. She looked down at her feet and saw a red bra. "Oh my God.' She stepped out of the office and shouted at the top of her lungs, "Nicholas! I told you my office was off limits!" She slammed the door, "bringing another one of his whores over, unbelievable." She shrugged, "I can't do this right now." She shut the door on her way out.
Brad and Lydia walked out of the closest. "That was close." She said, picking up her bra.
"Too close…" Brad breathed a sigh of relief.
The Outskirts of Heaven Beach
On the desolate roads of the outskirts of Heaven Beach, Demetrius sped down the roads, going well over the fifty-five mile speed limit.
"Don't you think you should slow down?" Maria asked, nervously biting her lip.
"Are you kidding? This is the greatest high ever," he barely made a sharp turn, "woo! God this is amazing," he shouted.
"Demetrius, please slow down." She grabbed onto the "oh shit" handle.
He glanced at his back mirror, "uh oh, blue light special."
She looked back, "shouldn't you be pulling over?"
"Nah, let's make this interesting," he pressed the accelerator.
"What are you doing?" She watched the speedometer reach ninety. "You're going too fast, slow down!"
He continued to press the accelerator, "my God this is amazing!" He made another sharp turn. "I haven't felt this good since I've been here. Isn't this great?"
Maria now had both hands on the handle, "please slow down," she pleaded. The car began to move out of control. "Slow down!"
He jerked the steering wheel to the right to prevent from hitting another car.
"Oh my God!" She screamed.
The pursuing police officer could hear the faint sounds of a young woman screaming as he watched the car wrap around a nearby tree.
