History: Ethan moved to Heaven Beach from London in October of 2003, leaving his father behind. He arrived to an unwelcoming response from his cousin, Noah, who even tried to get him to leave town. The two were able to make amends and all is well with Ethan and the Robinson's, except for his father, who he has nothing to do with. During Thanksgiving of last year, Ethan found a picture of a toddler hidden in the family book, with the date "1988, written on it. The child was too young to be Noah and too old to be him, almost immediately he found himself on a search to find the 'missing' Robinson. A chance encounter at a town celebration reunited Ethan with a brother he never knew about, Austin Philips. He has become very close with Austin and is constantly defending him from The Robinson's. He is also close with is cousin, Sarah, grandmother, Charlotte and cousin-in-law, Simone. He is also very involved with theatre at the local high school where he met his good friends, Monica and Lucas Ballantyne. He has finally found the one thing he has been missing, a real family.
