History: The youngest Slater child, Nicholas returned to Heaven Beach in the summer of 2003, after moving back to NYC, where the Slater's are originally from. His return was intended to be short-lived but after his sister's rapist, Thomas kidnaped him, he realized how important family was and how much he was needed. He was held in captivity until early December, he was rescued by family friend, Inspector Kate Weiss and D.A. Elizabeth Harper. Though he has very tight-knit relationships with his mother, sister and grandmother, Nicholas has always wanted a male friend in the family, he has found that in Kip Davis, and since Kip moved into their home the two have become close friends.
